Leonard Wilfred Davies, born 19 December 1906, started a butcher's dynasty now four generations old. Excellent Saturday lunch at The Clive. Definitely one of the best places to eat in the Ludlow area. Friendly service at just the right pace, good wine list, nice environment and menu has a good combination of traditional classics like haddock and chips to more unusual dishes such as miso roasted hispi cabbage or spiced mackerel with bombay potato salad. Would definitely recommend.
