We had a party of 10 and it was a great dining experience. From seat to feet the staff was energetic and friendly. Good vibes and the decor was great. The drinks alert fun and delicious. From the shotskis to the barrel racer my favorite. The Food was excellent! Steaks were cooked to perfection. Skirt steak with chimichurri sauce 😎 Look forward to coming back.

We visited South Bend Bistro for the first time on a date that happened to be the date that ownership changes follow the employee buy-out. We were greeted at our table with a fantastic glass of champagne. We followed the champagne with an old fashioned and glass of wine - both excellent. We were happy with the choices on the menu and wound up sharing the crab cakes that were the best I can remember. We also shared a cup seafood chowder - another winner! For entrees we chose the Orecchiette as well as the halibut special. Words can not express the feeling experienced in that first bite. The fish was cooked to perfection and had a slight crunch yet exploded with moisture and wonderful seasoning. For dessert my wife had an espresso martini that was also the best we have tasted. I really can’t believe how long we have been going to Sunriver and yet never tried this place, it will now be to go-to for all special occasions! thank you!

I have to say based on some of the negative recent reviews people had left, we were on the fence about eating here, but, we found that the service from the staff was really great. They were so nice and attentive. Food came out quickly and were good sized portions. Our only comments were that the pepperoni was SO SALTY that it was difficult to finish a slice. Otherwise, the other toppings and menu items we ordered were great (breadsticks and a salad). Great restaurant for our family and we look forward to ordering some new menu items to try next time!
