This is why I love celebrating special occasions at Mastro's. It is perfect every single time. The staff welcomes you like family, and the waiter could not be more attentive without ever making you feel rushed. Food and drinks arrive perfectly prepared, every time. We came to celebrate my son's birthday — and he is a self-proclaimed food snob, so the bar was high. He loved everything. We started with the wedge salad (his personal favorite; he orders it every visit), French onion soup, tuna tartare (which the kitchen graciously adapted for our gluten-free guest), a lobster roll, and shrimp cocktail. Mains were the bone-in ribeye, an 8 oz. filet — petite, but cooked to perfection — blackened salmon, and sea bass. Sides: baked potatoes, creamed corn, and asparagus. And then the kitchen sent out a beautiful warm butter cake with a happy birthday message, compliments of the house. That kind of thoughtfulness is what sets this place apart. Well done, Mastro's. Going out feels like a luxury these days, so when I do, I want it to count. Skip the ordinary — give me Mastro's.

From the moment my husband & I entered the dark, elegant upscale Larsen’s establishment, we enjoyed excellent attentive service throughout our entire dining experience. At first I was concerned about my husband’s casual attire (jeans) not being appropriate for our visit there, but given there were other diners present wearing similar clothing it was not an issue, although it was refreshing to see that some patrons were dressed more formally to match the restaurant’s ambiance. Our waitstaff were prompt to appear at our table, bringing us our requested beverages & taking our dinner order. Our dinners were prepared & served fairly quickly, probably because the restaurant was not at full capacity. The portions were generous & the fare was beautifully presented as well as delicious. We were quietly celebrating my birthday, so it was a pleasant surprise to receive a complimentary gorgeously decorated dessert plate that featured a a delectable strawberry cake, vanilla ice cream, & fresh berries topped with whipped cream that both my husband & I enjoyed very much. We had informed the restaurant of the special occasion when we booked our OpenTable reservation, so that may account for the amazing service & attention too as the manager even checked on us a couple of times while we were seated at our table. It was our first visit to Larsen’s, & I am so impressed that I will definitely recommend it to family & friends. Plus, it was such a stellar experience that I plan on returning again soon!

I’ve been to Cork and Batter several times and always was satisfied. This time didn’t disappoint. From making the reservation on open table to paying the bill my experience was quick, pleasant, satisfying and tasty!! But even more so our server, Braden, was amazing!! Very nice, very attentive and always had a smile on his face. Thanks Braden! Great job overall 😊

The service and food was good as always. The Happy Hour has a good choice and affordable prices. We go on Mondays regularly.
