We weren’t sure what to expect as we’ve never been to a scratch kitchen restaurant before but wow what an experience. We ordered the arancini for our appetizer, chicken parm, crab and clam fettuccine, and the strawberries and cream for dessert. The brought a complimentary asparagus foam mousse to our table to kick things off as well. Literally every single dish was out of this world! It is a pricier spot for Cape Coral but so very worth it. Definitely the best dishes we’ve ever had in Cape. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is definitely an experience that we will be itching to have again.

We were a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers, so you never really know what to expect, more so with the kids behavior than anything else! In this case, the kids were the biggest problem! The food was awesome and we selected a wide variety of items, including steak, sea bass, chicken breast, salmon and an orange chicken selection. Everyone was very happy and were clean platers! Our 2 year old granddaughter ordered the petite filet steak and I’ve never seen her eat so much in one meal! She even had a few bites of my daughter in law’s salmon! There were lots of larger parties which always causes service problems, but he was trying to stay on task. Parking and getting to the restaurant is cumbersome, but some of that was due to our being new to the area and not the restaurant’s fault. We will definitely go again soon and I recommend that you give it a try. There’s also live music and entertainment in the area, so you can make it a complete evening experience!

We brought older guests from out of town to Gather. The food and our server, Lyric, were excellent. What wasn't good was the hostess and the young woman seating people. We had reservations for 4 at 5:30. We arrived at 5:25. We needed a low top given the disability of one of our guests. We were taken to a section with all low-tops, which was completely empty when we arrived. (It never reached capacity for the duration of our meal.) The table we were brought to was positioned where the sun was shining brightly onto the table and would be directly in the eyes of 2 people at the table. I kindly asked the young woman seating us if we could have the 4-top table next to this table, which had no glaring sun. She said "no", "it was reserved". I reminded her that we had a reservation as well and simply would like to sit at the table with no sun. She continued to say "no" and her reason was that it was reserved and there would be guests following that table's reservation as was true with ours. While I remained respectful, I expressed that this made no sense to me. Both were reserved, both had guests following the 5:30 reservation; why couldn't we switch tables? I asked her if someone had specifically requested that table and she said "no". After she made several illogical attempts to explain the issue, I asked her to please ask the hostess. I accompanied her to the hostess stand. She talked to the hostess and the hostess rudely asked me "are you the one with the issue?" Before I could answer, and without looking at me, she said, "the sun will be going down anyway" and she told the young woman to "give them a different table; we'll have to figure it out later" and she rudely walked away. We were seated at the table I requested but, unsettled from this unnecessary experience which made our elderly, disabled guests, uncomfortable. We sat for quite a while before being waited on and almost left when our waiter, Lyric, approached us and apologized for the wait.

I go to Coopers Hawk in Columbus Ohio regularly with my family. I introduced a couple of my friends from Michigan to the one here in Fort Myers. It was fabulous and up to them wanting to come back and share with others. The grouper crusted dish was unbelievable. ur server Laur was great. Heads up Kitty

Very much enjoyed the Florida salad with grilled chicken. Appreciate the half order options! Very fun to watch the boats come and go as they use the guest docking for dinner venues along the promenade.
