Mamma Ristorante, in various guises, has been a west London fixture and firm favourite with locals for over 25 years. The current restaurant is on Richmond's Kew Road, easy walking distance from Kew Gardens, and the shops and transport links of Richmond. The décor is wonderfully quirky; the restaurant is decked out to look like a courtyard in Italy, complete with washing lines hung with clothes strung over the tables.     It was a fantastic experience! The customer service was excellent from the moment we arrived, and our waitress was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. The only minor issue was the noise level, but honestly, it’s understandable for a Saturday night. We’ll definitely be back!

    My husband and myself went for a pre theatre lunch. We arrived slightly early and were shown to our table by a friendly waiter. It was a very cold day but the restaurant was lovely and warm. My husband chose the seafood linguine and I had the saltimbocca with saute potatoes. The food arrived promptly. Delicious and generous portions. For dessert, tiramisu for me and pannacotta with fruits for my husband. Both good. Both chose draft Moretti beer and coffees to finish. Highly recommend. Need to book as the restaurant was full of diners most going to the Orange Tree theatre a short walk away.

    Absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are attentive without being in your face. The ambience is perfect, warm, buzzing but quiet enough to enjoy your company without shouting. The food is divine. Steak cooked to perfection. The chunky chips are the best ever and a delicious array of desserts to choose from. This is our special occasion go to restaurant. If we could afford to go there more often we would. Whilst it is a pricier meal, it is definitely value for money given the standard of food you get.
