Leonard Wilfred Davies, born 19 December 1906, started a butcher's dynasty now four generations old. His butchers typical cheeky sense of humour now lives on through his grandchildren along with his knowledge of butchery.In 1997 Leonard’s grandson Richard opened The Station Inn, which quickly generated a great reputation for quality steak. Faultless! Cosy table for two in the snug. Lovely helpful staff, especially Polly. We both had “small” roast beef which was tender, tasty & plentiful with lovely vegetables & enormous yorkshire pudding. We’ll be back. Thank you.

We as a couple went for the butchery night on a Friday and we must say the food we had was cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive. Couldn't fault anything.

Very good attentive service throughout. We had coffee by the roaring open fire in very comfortable seating area. The bright and vibrant dining room was lovely and our meal was delicious. Three courses for lunch, as well as sandwich options too. I've frequently been for lunch and will always come back as it is good service, delicious food and in beautiful surroundings. Thank you!

An excellent Christmas day menu, lovely food and good service. I attended with my 93 year old mum and disabled brother, who both told me they really enjoyed their experience. We have used the restaurant several times before, usually for larger family get togethers. Always good and we will continue to use. Recommended for any occasion.
