A pleasant surprise. Good food eclectic mix -something for everyone.

We had a wonderful time at Friar’s table. The food was very tasty, plentiful, and well prepared. Our server Rosalyn was attentive and knowledgeable. We were able to get to our show at Playhoyse with time to spare. We will definite be back.

Excellent food and excellent service from the host stand through dessert. Highly recommend!

We had never been to the District and decided to try it out after an event at the Playhouse Square. The event ran late so we missed our time but were greet but a friendly host who provided us with a great table and view. Elizabeth provided us great service and recommendations. We had the fresh hot bread with several butters and olive oil, the Vegan Mushroom Soup, the Crab & Jalapeño Arancini, Duck Confit entree and the Pan Seared Black Cod - all delicious. The cocktails were excellent as well. We look forward to our next visit!
