A great time at our favorite restaurant. Diane is an Awesome server and an absolute Gem . We will ALWAYS go to Back burner when we have a special occasion. The prime rib is melt in your mouth delicious!!

Took my wife out to dinner for her birthday and since there really are no restaurants in the Dover area that I would classify as "nice" made the drive up north to House of William and Merry. We were not disappointed! The staff was amazing and took great care of us for the entire evening. Never felt rushed, our server paid the right amount of attention to us to make sure we were served well but allowing us to enjoy our evening without excess interuptions. The food was delicious and the portions just right. My wife and I split sides of a garden salad and mushroom soup. The kitchen split them for us so we were served with our own bowls. The portions were perfect for us. The dressing on the salad was so good we literally wanted to like our salad bowls. The mushroom soup was topped with some sort of fried pork (our sever told me what it was but I forget) which was a real highlight. For our main course we both had the veal bolognese served on gnocchi which was absolutely mouth watering. Perfectly prepared and delicious. To top it off we split a tropical fruit themed creme brulee which was fantastic. They also brought my wife a chocholate truffle with a candle for her birthday. Their wine list is not extensive, but there are some good choices that can be had for a reasonable price. As we got later in the evening it did get pretty noisy as it is a small, and I am guessing popular place. A small thing as we left thinking we will absolutely go back.

Wife and I go there frequently. I usually hit the all you can eat crabs, but got the ribeye on the specials menu. Was amazing. Oysters always outstanding.

Deerfield provides a fantastic holiday Sunday Brunch Buffet with awesome food stations in a beautiful dining room. Great service provided by an excellent staff. Highly recommended for an enjoyable Sunday meal.
