Leonard Wilfred Davies, born 19 December 1906, started a butcher's dynasty now four generations old.     From the moment we stepped through the door the reception was welcoming. Our table for 2 was in the middle of the dining room but had plenty of space and actually felt quite private. Staff arrived quickly with water and took a drinks order. Perfect timing from food order to delivery of each course. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious great experience all round.

    I took my grandmother out for lunch and we were very well looked after by the two waitresses. The food was lovely and we had a great time. Thank you all.

    WGEN BOOKING I requested the ramp to be put outside as I am disabled and use a very small scooter. The ramp WAS NOT put outside. Luckily that day I was with friends who could go inside to ask. The object was so that I can be independent and use the restaurant with others who need the ramp. Why wasn’t a permanent slope/ramp put in when alterations were in the planning stages. No outdoor drinking area would have been lost. Very disappointed before we even got to the table.
