An absolutely outstanding meal. John, our server couldn’t have been helpful. We always opt for the traditional starter/main until John suggested we go Tapas style with the smaller dishes which enabled us to sample 6 or 7 varied plates accompanied by a glass of their excellent Albariño. It felt my culinary brain had been to the gym and done circuit training. Couldn’t fault anything.

Excellent friendly and welcoming service from the moment we arrived. The Smoking Lobster staff looked after us brilliantly and made my wife's birthday really special. We sat where we chose (window overlooking the beach), they made a special savoury birthday "cake" as requested (and did not charge!), and were just lovely. Oh - and both the food and the cocktails were the best ever! Thank you!

The best meal out we have had in ages. There was 9 of us for my Mums birthday and all of our food was lovely. The calamari was the nicest I have had in the uk. The staff where friendly.

We had a wonderful family meal out at Sakura. We were early for our table and had to wait, but we were given a small table by the front door to sit and think about what we wanted to order. When our table was ready, and throughout our meal, we were attended to promptly and often by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food came out incredibly fast and it was fresh, delicious and presented nicely. It's very clear this restaurant is popular as it was full the whole time, but because of the way it's laid out, we felt like we had our own private booth and we felt nice and cosy partitioned off from other diners. We were incredibly impressed by the service we received, despite it being so busy. When we left there was a queue out the door! We will definitely be back to this wonderful place.

A busy Christmas eve evening. Pub was buzzing. Happy, fast service and good food. Very enjoyable.
