Our first experience at Firebirds was absolutely flawless! From the moment we were greeted for our reservation, to leaving the restaurant with our beautifully packaged leftovers and desert to-go, the service, ambiance, quality and presentation of the food was all amazing! Our server, Brie, was extremely knowlegable of the menu and made excellent suggestions! She asked questions and shared items that were directly in line with our taste. I never would have tried those carrots, however her detailed description enticed me and she was spot-on!! They will be a favorite from now on!! For a busy Friday night, plus the arrival of a wedding party, there was no exhibit of stress or rush. We watched them prepare the tables for new guests and were very impressed with the care taken to wipe down both tables and chairs! There is a great deal of attention to detail at this restaurant! Also, Matt, the manager, was an integral part of the operation. It was evident the staff is well trained, but even more important is that Matt is working alongside of them, encouraging and complementing them. What a well-oiled operation Firebirds in Surprise is! We moved here from the Chicago area and are "foodies" at heart. We have found a select few places we truly enjoy going for dinner - Firebirds has now earned a top spot on our list! Can't wait for the Goodyear location - saves us 30 minutes! In the meantime, you are worth the drive!! Be sure to duplicate the magic in Goodyear!

I don't care much for the two top booths, but they have lots of them, and that's where they put us. They brought us a little loaf of white bread, which was cute, but boring. then we ordered an appetizer. The Shrimp appetizer was amazing! Seriously, it has been a while since I had shrimp that big! For dinner I ordered Jambalaya and my wife ordered Parmesan Baked Shrimp Scampi. Both were excellent. I mean incomparable! As we were celebrating my wife's birthday they brought her two truffles and a candle supported by whipped cream. If we could have cut the truffles we might be able to tell you if they were any good or not, but I tried with the supplied spoon and I was afraid it would go shooting across the room. We were quite satisfied with our meal, so we left the truffles and departed. Oh, my wife has a glass of the Cooper's Hawk Chardonnay, and she said it was quite good. over all, a nice experience.

We went with our friends and had a table for four. The waitress came immediately and greeted us and was so informative and had a great sense of humor. She told us about the great deals for a Wednesday and we ordered the 2 meals for $65. We all tried something different and were all very happy. The salads were great, the filet was done perfectly, the Chicken Cordon Bleu was my favorite and then came dessert! The Butter cake was our favorite but the raspberry cheesecake was also very good. It was a perfect night with wine and dinner and a great ambiance. Would highly recommend!

Everything we ordered was really good! Our server was excellent! We will be returning.

Service was amazing! They really make you feel so comfortable and welcome. Also there’s so many places to take cute pics!
