    We were most impressed with the staff & service as soon as we stepped in the door. The ladies were friendly & welcoming. Our main waitress had only been there 5 days & we wouldn’t have known only through our conversations. The chef was incredible working solo to cook for all the diners as well as takeaways. The food menu was concise & the wine list extensive.

    The Black Cow is an excellent place to eat. The food was exceptional. The Black Cow is an excellent restaurant. The food is outstanding—the steak is cooked to perfection, and the roast pumpkin is divine. If you’re staying in Launceston, it’s definitely worth a visit. I ordered a 100-gram eye fillet, which was the perfect portion for me. I loved it and would certainly return on my next trip to Launceston.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and recommend dining here but we miss the corn ribs and carbonara ( our favs) .
