We were overall very impressed. The restaurant is more on the pricy side but the quality and the tast of the food was (in our opinion worth it). We made one mistake and ordered a cocktail at the bar while we waited for our table. We did not choose a cocktail from the menue. They charged every liquor separate. We ended up paying $68 for a Negroni and a Martini.

Excellent and delicious. A must place to dine! Highly recommend the chef’s counter for a unique dining experience!

Had a great meal and the menu offered a number of vegetarian options. One of the entrees was spicier than expected and they took it off the bill which was appreciated.

Have had breakfast there several times, but had lunch recently. Great burger ( though it was cooked closer to medium-rare vs. medium well as ordered). Service was great, love the atmosphere!

We always have a great experience when we dine at Chartreuse. Begin your visit by ordering one of their delicious signature drinks made with Chartreuse such as "The Last Word" while you peruse the menu. We start our meal with the twice-cooked egg with salad greens and then order another choice or two after finishing our starter. When you have finished, they have fantastic desserts. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Chartreuse is located on Woodward Ave. next to the Detroit Institute of Arts in a very safe and pleasant area of the city. Close to Comerica Park, Ford Field, Little Caesars Arena, and the Detroit Opera House, Chartreuse is a great place to dine before or an event or just for an exceptional meal. Two thumbs up, my wife and I both highly recommend it!
