Meal was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. We are fortunate enough to have a GREAT steakhouse in our home town. Unfortunately every time we visit a different steakhouse we compare it to this one. Having said that, this restaurant was not worth the price.

First time at the Gainesville location and we were impressed. Kara was a fabulous server, and we thought every dish was excellent, from the calamari to the chopped salad to the 20 ounce ribeye to the Thai chili and garlic risotto to the chocolate mousse dessert. We shared every dish and have leftovers to enjoy another day.

Comfortable chairs and great view. Lovely evening.

I can’t say enough. My husband and I have been here in Gainesville for 6 months and we come from a very food focused city. We went for his birthday dinner. Mildred’s is easily the best food we have had since moving here! All of the proteins were cooked perfectly, the sauces were fun and delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable but elegant. The staff is amazing and it seems like owner cares for them. I can’t wait to try them for lunch!

Not their fault, but we sat outside, which was lovely, but there were two “kids” skateboarding on the sidewalk right next to our table. They were very loud. This is an issue for the Gainesville PD. Something for Amelia’s to bring up with them.
