Exquisite celebratory dinner at Heist on the coldest night of the year! We suggest starting with the polenta frites which will melt in your mouth followed up with the caesar salad (yes you can make it yourself but this has a special touch with grilled corn). My main was an incredible version of Cioppino- the lobster bisque was so flavourful with mussels, shrimp and lobster to tuck into with the toasted sourdough slices. My partner had the tenderloin served with a delicious combination of vegetables. The 4 oz. steak was filling but if you have a larger appetite, you may want to invest in the 8 oz. The grand finale was the creme caramel done up with birthday wishes on my plate- such a sweet touch for a sweet ending to our meal! Highly recommend the Wellington room for the sophisticated vibe and also the floor to ceiling windows looking out onto Wellington Street. The warm ambience and privacy are exactly what you expect for a romantic dinner for two!

We were greeted by a very friendly host and we were sat immediately. The Keg in Kingston is quite an interesting space whereby there are several nook areas that one can dine, giving the space a quieter more intimate atmosphere which we enjoyed. Our server was wonderful and had a great sense of humour. She was very engaging with our table. Multiple foh suppirt members helped to service our table and maintain a timely flow of the courses. Tables around us were cleared and flipped immediately as well. The food was delicious. The only minor thing was that my steak came out more medium rare and I asked for a medium cook. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The brussel sprouts were delicious with the crunchy croutons and the filets were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

Everytime we've eaten there, the food is amazing, the service is fantastic. It's always a little loud, but that is a small trade off for the fantastic food. Their home made pasta is what seals the deal for me! My wife loves their pizzas, 5 stars!

Spectacular New Year’s Day Brunch! It was our second year attending and won’t be our last. Everything was delicious on a menu that included soup and salads, savoury egg dishes, pancakes, bacon, sausages, homefries and chicken and waffles. Special shoutout to the chef for the homemade pastries - cinnamon rolls, donuts and pain au chocolat. Outstanding! We had a quiet table by the roaring fire and the service was friendly and attentive. Thank you The Ivy! Everything was amazing!
