We were at the Linny for an anniversary meal. We were given a table in a quiet corner which suited us perfectly. The pub was full so we're glad we booked. We ordered the pork roast and the venison casserole. They then said the casserole was no longer available so were offered venison sausages instead which was fine. There was quite a delay in the food coming out but it was explained to us that there was a table of 16 ahead of us and an apology was offered. The food when it arrived was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and deliciously tasting. Staff were very attentive and we will definitely be back

We had a lovely evening last night at The Elephant. My son-in-law treated us to a fantastic taster menu meal. Every course had something special. We all agreed that the scallops and plum courses were our favorite. Service was excellent, friendly, and professional. This was a special treat and would recommend anyone to try this.

Overall a good experience. The food was delicious, well presented and good portions. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised and look forward to returning again.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here! Overall ambiance was exellent. The food was amazing! The staff was wonderful! The f&b staff who attended to us was very professional and served us with a smile. The wild mushroom Tagliatelle was the best I’ve ever had. The Salmon was cooked to perfection too! The live band outside was a bonus. Such a lovely experience spending birthdays here. Did not disappoint at any thing we are satisfied just like last year but this year’s menu was far more better than the previous one. Portion was good. We found the mouth watering calamari in paignton that we had last year on the sister’s hotel next door so we are very happy.
