We have a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday at State & Main in Orillia. I had salmon and my husband ordered the empire state steak. Both dishes were delicious and made to perfection. We also sheared the west coast salad, which was very fresh and yummy. Portion size was very generous. Some of us didn’t have room for dessert, so more for me 🙂 Strawberry champagne cheesecake was really good. Restaurant was packed and a bit noisy, so I was glad I made the reservation the night before. Service was great and we had a very pleasant time. We’ve been to this restaurant before and definitely will be coming back. Highly recommend this place for our family and friends.

Our experience at The Common Stove on Sept. 12 was very positive. Our server was excellent-knowledgeable and timely. Our food was much above standard restaurant fare, and the sides served with our entrees were truly exceptional. We will be back, even though we don't live nearby.

Had a great evening and enjoyed our dinner. The food is superb and fully meets our expectations for a more refined dinning experience. We were originally going to sit inside however asked to be seated outside which was accommodated without any fuss. Highly recommend the hanger steak and elk. Delicious.
