I organised a surprise dinner for my wife's 60th birthday alongside a group of friends at Colombo 7. The experience was first class from start to finish. The food was superb, consistent from our previous visits and as usual the service was efficient and welcoming. A nice touch from the restaurant was a drink or ice cream for each of the guests to celebrate my wife's birthday. Overall, yet again, a very positive and enjoyable experience at this restaurant and we will, of course, be returning!

The food was delicious. The only thing I found disappointing was the set menu at lunch included a Kir Royal, I don’t drink alcohol and there wasn’t a non alcoholic alternative.

It was like no one was listening to what we were ordering Firstly Coke with no ice.. it came with ice Roast chicken with no green cabbage It came with 9 roast potatoes and no vegetables at all. No parsnips or bread sauce just chicken and potatoes! I explained what I ordered and what I didn’t like and they came out with a bowl of cabbage and carrots! They went back and then I got carrots and green beans. I never did get parsnips and I gave up A Dessert was them ordered. We asked for 1 apple crumble with custard They bought us 2 apple crumbles with ice cream! It is quite disappointing when so many things are wrong with the service and it really comes down to listening to what people say. Food was good and it won’t put me off coming back though

Really good pub food at the Elephant & Castle. Family had a wonderful time and the kids menu was really good value with good portion sizes for 10 year olds. Quiet on a Tuesday as expected, but that only meant the food came quicker which was nice, I was spoilt for choice with excellent pies, but went for the beef short rib which was excellent. Everyone was happy and would happily return.
