                                      Just wanted to share that the location for the birthday dinner was really fantastic. The enclosed patio with open windows was just perfect for the lovely Fall weather. The service and the meal were both really good too!

                                      When I first walked in, there was no one at the hostess stand. When the hostess finally arrived, after I waited, maybe 3 to 5 minutes, there was another couple leaving, and she was already at the hostess stand and she said goodbye to them before even looking at me or acknowledging me. And then she asked me have you been helped yet, not even a hello or anything. I said that I had a reservation at 3:45 and she asked for my name I gave it to her and she grabbed menus and I asked to be outside and she let me sit outside and that was it, it was a rude start. Then, my waitress came and she was nice. Her name is Carter. She failed to tell me all of the specials I found out at the end because I heard another hostess. Tell another table more specials and deals happening on Labor Day. I asked her about it at the end. I said I heard this other person say there’s still going on. It would’ve been nice to know at the beginning of my meal. And I asked if there was a way out from the patio and she showed me and we both went back towards the hostess stand, and she was talking with the hostess about who knows what. This is the first time I have ever been at the establishment and it may be the last due to this experience. The food was phenomenal. I wish the service was as well.

                                      It was a rough night at Kona. The A/C was out and some of the food/drink items ordered were not available. Our waitress was sweet and friendly. The food we ordered was good but it felt a little less special than it has in the past.

                                      AC out on a Friday night in August. My 12 oz ribeye was definitely not 12oz. The prices are absolutely nuts for what you get. The food tastes good, for what it's worth.
