Awesome service and appreciate the great recommendaitons on food. Delicious food items prepare in unique ways.
Food and service was great. We had a great time.
It’s was something different out of our comfort zone for me and my girlfriend but we had a great time their
Taylor was so amazing! She was super friendly and very attentive.
The service and the bread was good, but the food just didn’t taste good. I ordered the Mexican sea bass with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Honestly, the mashed potatoes tasted like just basic boxed mashed potatoes, nothing special . The fish was nicely cooked just a little to greasy for fish. When i think of fish i think of something light and fresh. Lastly, i just didn’t care for the brussel sprouts they were to greasy.
The food, service and ambiance were perfect for my husband’s birthday.
Food was ok, portions small for the price, service took forever
the oyster casino were poor. What happened to you oysters rockafelloer.
We chose to eat at the Fish House in part because it has good traffic patterns to get to a concert by 6:30...and it was a great choice. Our server understood the time constraint and made sure our meals were handled efficiently. The meals themselves were, as always for this restaurant (a favorite of ours) excellent, with all special requests handled.
My husband & I always enjoy Kings Fish House in Mission Valley for dinner! The food is reliably good and there is no corkage fee if you like to bring your own wine. Our waiter Kenneth was great. We had the scallops and the lemon nut crusted sea bass. Both delicious! We also split a salad before the meal and had bread. The meals come with two sides. We regretfully had no room for their delicious bread pudding or key lime pie this time!
The fish was very fresh and portions were generous. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back.
Everything was dirty and sticky. And I mean from the windows to the plates the food was served on. The best word I can use to describe the food in general….sad. If you want to go to Kings, go to the one in Carlsbad.
Slid right in without any issues. Plenty of spacing on the patio and we could even hear each other talk.
Had another great dinner at King's last night. Kenneth was our server and he is outstanding... always stoked when he's our server. Food was great, we were sat right away... always a great place to eat! Thanks!
They didn’t have the wine I wanted so I ordered a virgin seabreeze(?)….cranberry & orange juice. I was charged $3.95 for cranberry juice & $3.95 for orange juice!!! I got ONE DRINK, not a glass of each juice! It was a mixture…1/2 cranberry & 1/2 orange juice. RIPOFF! My friends ordered sprite with crown royal….they got a glass of sprite ($4.00) & a glass with a shot of crown Royal at a cost of $12.95…they should have been mixed in 1 drink! Was it the bartender's 1st day on the job? Who determines the prices of the drinks? The bartender or the waitress? We waited close to an hour for our dinners!! If they were short staffed in the kitchen,we should have been told! Perhaps they could have comped us salads to fill some of the waiting time. When we got in the car, we all agreed that we would NOT be going back to King's Fish. NO ONE LIKES BAD SERVICE & NO ONE LIKES TO BE RIPPED OFF.
Very good fish house! My veggie side dish was a disappointment but it is usually excellent.
Listen, I had the best meal for lunch, and Christian was a polite gentleman which is very rare in Southern California! I gave them 30% tip because there is no one that is better than him, the food was great and the service was outstanding!
I really love this restaurant and it's too bad that the quality of the food has gone down so much since Covid.
The food has no flavor and the quality definitely seems to be poor.
Service less than desired. All food arrived at the same time, appetizers, oysters, main course, all at the same time. Less than desirable.
The fish was so good and our server was awesome!
Apps came before drinks and bread to table. Drinks and food returned due to poor quality. Have been many times and unfortunately this was worst experience. Short staffed which I get during these times. Server and manager did best they could and made it right for us so kudos to them. Hoping it was just a one off bad night. I will go back though.
Our waitress advised she was new at her job. It was obvious. She was nice but seriously needs someone to follow her for a few days. She has the right attitude to succeed.
The bartender was very attentive! And Taylor, our server, was amazing!! The food never disappoints!
Always a pleasurable experience!!!
Kings is reliable great seafood with excellent service- and no qr codes! Love this place. Never dissapoints.
We recently had a "good" meal there, which equates to 3 stars. Although the waitress was nice, the wait for food was very long and food quality was just okay. However, we've been really wowed on previous occasions, so I compromised on four stars!
The food and service was great. It's bit pricey for lunch.
Usually we have a good experience, but last night wasn’t as good as usual. Our appetizers were brought out last as they were forgotten about. When we did get them, the ahi poke was off on the flavoring and presentation. The waiter started off well but this diminished as the night went on.
It was somewhat understandable though as I know all restaurants have been both busy and short staffed, which was most likely the cause.
Things were good overall. Food came out as expected. Nice variety of menu executed mostly well. Great server. A little pricey but hey it’s San Diego.
Ample parking, friendly service. Food value for the price is on the expensive side. Food quality is good.
Table was ready when expected. Service was very good yet not overbearing. Enjoyed not having wait service always tending us. Highly recommend for quiet dinner. Celebration. Or whatever
Los meseros no traen tapabocas y eso genera inquietud
Nice place, sushi and beat salad were excellent, the mussel were in tomato souce and was a little heavy, all in all very recommendable
Waiter and food was great !!
The food was excellent. Expensive, but portions were generous. Service was on point as well. We chose to dine outdoors due to the ongoing pandemic. Ambience is tough when your view is the parking lot of a shopping center, but the food and service more than made up for that. We look forward to our next visit.
Excellent, fresh seafood. Our waitress Michelle was amazing.
The food was really good and the service was great. Looking to come back again.
The 4 of us had a variety of servings. All were very good. Triston was great!
Birthday for grandmother’s 73rd.
I have business lunch meetings here often and the wait serve is usually a friendly warm server. This visit the server may have been having an off day as I was missing a friendly server. The mood of the server on this visit gave myself and guest that experience that it was an annoyance to wait on us and was very short in their communication.
The rest of our visit was the usual experience with good tasting food.
We reserve our table for seven people an hour advance. We came on time. Waited for 40 minutes and left. They seated 6 group of people from 2 to 5 people per party. Very disappointed. Don’t go there if you have group of people more than five.
