El Joseph Decuis está situado en Roanoke, una comunidad rural llena de encanto e historia del noreste de Indiana (a 15 minutos de Ft. Wayne, 1,5 horas al norte de Indianápolis y 3 horas al este de Chicago), y es el sitio ideal para probar comida elaborada con ingredientes de proximidad y disfrutar de una experiencia gourmet inolvidable. El menú consta de platillos de temporada preparados con ingredientes provenientes de la granja del establecimiento y otras afines, y elaborados de manera creativa y artística por los chefs. La parte principal del restaurante se encuentra en el edificio de un antiguo banco (las cámaras acorazadas son ahora bodegas) en el que los comensales sienten como si hubieran retrocedido en el tiempo y se encontrasen en una época en la que se apreciaba más pasar tiempo alrededor de una mesa. The Chairman’s Office is literally the office space used by the owners of Joseph Decuis, and is perfect for private business meetings and dinners. With seating for up to 8 diners, the Chairman’s Office features personal sports and patriotic memorabilia collected over the years, a comfortable sitting area, a round board room table and kitchen for private service.

This fun night on the farm features a bourbon tasting with over 8 different bourbons to discover and enjoy. Of course we have to have cigars to go with the bourbon! One cigar is included in the price and Rudy's will be there with more for purchase and to answer all your cigar questions. Heavy appetizers are on the nights menu. A Jazz trio compliments the evening. So Gather your bourbon drinking friends (or wine, and beer friends as we will have other spirits) and come out to the farm for this popular event. This event is from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

This was a prix fixe luncheon event -there were four courses with 2 wine pairing. The wine was also excellent. It is a great setting, privately owned and run, wait staff is very professional and the ‘garden room /atrium is all glass and provides a sense of being outdoors.

Service was outstanding. Specialty drinks were delicious. Fantastic wine selections. The quality of the food product was spectacular and it was made to perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It is one of the finest dinning experiences anywhere.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Enjoyed the sound level which and decor of the restaurant. Food was fabulous. Will be back!

Here is the deal. Due to a time change I called to change my reservation from 6:15pm to 7pm. I was told there were no openings at 7pm or later as there was a "waiting list". I went on Open Table and changed the reservation without issue to 7pm. The restaurant at no time was more than 1/3 full, yes 2/3 empty. I don't know why they would lie, but frankly that left a bad impression. The food was great, the value was good and the service was attentive and very nice.

Absolutely the best filet I have ever had. It is a beautiful restaurant!! Service was superb especially the bartender!! It is pricey but so worth it!! Will definitely return.

Joseph Decuis always does a wonderful job. The staff is so attentive and engaged. Even when there's a small issue, they address it with care and thoughtfulness. My husband had the waigu shoulder, which was genuinely phenomenal.

We were disappointed in our meal at Joseph Decuis. We had high expectations given its reputation. We love that it is in Roanoke. Its ingredients coming from their actual farm also makes it very appealing. The steak knife presentation was unique and fun. When you dine at a restaurant like this you expect superior service and food quality. Our server, while friendly, did not seem to be very well versed in the menu nor in the nuances of the different steaks cuts on offer for the evening. Again, one would expect a server to provide descriptive details and set expectations of what is to be served when ordering. Generally, the main service felt like what you would receive at any chain sit-down type of restaurant and less than what you would receive at a fine dining location. Our main course, seemed to take a while to be delivered, although that wasn’t concerning. It did, however, come out like warm. Both the vegetable sides and the proteins were both cold. We did not receive a timely call back to raise our concern, so just continued with our meal. We decided against dessert since the entrees were so disappointing. The cocktails and the bartender were excellent, however. Overall, the experience was a disappointment. We will likely go to a place like Tolon or similar next time.

Richelle our waitress was very good. If you like to sit and talk in between every facet of the meal this is the place to go. Took 2hrs and 15minutes to get through the dinner and dessert. Food was okay but small portions - the Wagyu "steak" was only 5 oz..
