    This is my wife and my favorite place to celebrate anniversary birthday, etc. the food is always top notch , perfectly prepared and presented!

    We celebrated a birthday and it was simply a delightful experience. Mercedes was our server and she was excellent, and the food was "out of the park"! As we're leaving my sister (a true foodie) says "this is becoming my favorite place!" Thank you, J Gilberts!

    Consistently great food. We typically order one steak and one seafood entree and share. The portions are large and you'll likely have leftovers for a lunch. Even more so if you order apps, a salad, more sides, etc. Our server was really strong/helpful. But the service is rated Fair. Here's why. We had a reservation at 7:15 pm. We weren't seated for close to an hour and dinner ran much later into the evening than we'd planned. There were two large private party events going on. And a lot of other people waiting to be seated. But we could see a 2-top table in the main dining area empty and prepped the whole time we stood in the crowd, and multiple ready-to-go openings in the bar. Maybe it was staffing. In any event, if a premium-priced restaurant is going to have reservations, there should be an understanding that you're going to get seated faster than close to an hour and there probably should be someone explaining something or bringing extra food to keep you in the game. The food/experience was great -- other than the big timing miss.

    All of our food was great, our server was really nice, and the price was very reasonable. Our only negative was being seated very near the front door, so we could feel the unpleasant cold air and busyness as people entered and exited. I realize that SOMEONE has to sit here when it’s packed, but it was not a full house, so it would have been preferable to be away from the cold door area.

    We had a really great experience tonight. Our server, Laurie, was attentive and efficient. She was very sweet as well. Food got an A+! Delicious house salad, my salmon was perfect! We also had a burger and rib eye, both very good. Bread was FANTASTIC!! We will definitely go back!

    Food was good, but it took forever to get are food, 40 minutes is too long. Also the plates were hot food was not hot. The waiter was good but I think he had too many tables. This is not the experience we are use to at your restaurant.
