Indiana Restaurant calificaciones y reseñas
We dined on a Saturday evening, there was a warm welcome from the staff and quickly shown to our table. The food was as described on the menu - good portions and well cooked and the quality of the food was good as well. All round a worth while visit to this restaurant - would eat there again
A diamond amongst the stones.
Don't let the look of the area put you off this restaurant. Staff are attentive and friendly but not intrusive. A very relaxed comfortable restaurant with very tasty, classic Indian food.
Will definitely return and probably order from the comfort of my own home.
Sometimes in Indian restaurants all the dishes sem to taste the same except for the heat. that isn't so of the food in Indiana. Good sizzling dishes. Butter chicken was a bit too rich for my taste. We'll definitely go again and try some different dishes. Excellent value with offer
Once in a while you find an old restaurant that's still streaks ahead of the trendy ones, Indiana is it!
Comfortable setting, in a very odd parade of shops that tipify Tower Hamlets of old.
Personable and friendly service that's genuine rather than forced. The real deal, honest.
Epicly good food in a more traditional southern and mild style but amazingly tasty, simply delicious.
The 25% off food offer made it good value, can't say I fancy paying full given the drinks seemed a little pricy.
I don't claim to be an expert on Indian food, but if there is better than Indiano, I'd love to try it. Very generous portions of tasty food at a more than reasonable price. Service was a bit slow, but I put that down to the food being cooked from scratch. I will definitely return.
A very brief but thoroughly enjoyable meal, mid week. Service was perfect with a very friendly smile to greet us, followed by just enough attention. The food was everything that we'd expected - great content, excellent presentation. Openable's reviews were spot on!
All 3 of us came away nicely full and determined to visit again.
Me and my boyfriend visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Was greated by very warm and welcoming staff. Beautifully decorated inside..
The food was fantastic, piping hot and full of flavour!
Great value for money will come back here 100%
The only disappointment was the extra charge they added to the bill when we ordered poppadoms, I have been to many India restaurants and have never come across this extra charge for the salad which comes with poppadoms. There was no mention of this charge on the website nor the menu. Not Happy! :-(
Stay well clear! This is a shoddy attempt to offer Indian cuisine with a twist but the execution is extremely poor.
The service was poor, the flavours were all wrong and it wasn't good value for money (despite the 50% off deal).
You've been warned!
If you are looking for an indian restaurant where you will recognise the menu and enjoy what you have ordered then you can't go wrong here. Good for meeting up with friends who enjoy spicy food. The service was good, the food well cooked and the staff very pleasant.
The food is very good, the presentation is also nice and the staff friendly. It has a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. A bit disappointed that when using the 50% off food offer a 12,5% service charge is added to the bill and before the discount is applied so not really 50% off.
Portions were the right size, the waiter was brilliant at recommending suitable dishes for each of the party and the value was outstanding. The only thing that slightly let it down was we were the only party in the restaurant at one point so it lacked a bit of ambience (thursday early evening)
Not far from Limehouse in London's East End, Indiana serves up cracking currys and ice-cold Cobras - perfect for a hot summers evening.
We met a couple of local guys having a few beers while picking up a takeaway who promised us we were in for a treat and they weren't wrong. The chef here really knows how to balance spices and heat to deliver plenty of flavour with a nice chilli kick. Personally recommend the fabulous Lamb Sheek Galafi and the Chicken Jalfrezi - Probably the best I have had. if you are looking for a really good curry and some interesting individual dishes give Indiana a go. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Returned to Indiana a week after our last visit. The quality is as good as ever, and the good news is that there's no artificial colouring, no over-use of chilli, or oil, or salt. I highly recommend the lamb samosas, lamb dhansak and sag side dish.
We ate here after an ELLSO concert at St Anne's Church, Limehouse, literally 5 minutes walk away. What a treat! This was some of the best Indian cooking I have had in London. We had two vegetarians in our party of six, but the vegetarian food was so good that most of us had at least some. Having said that, the meat dishes were delicious. The service was very attentive and the maître d' full of local knowledge. I could forgive them the slight delay in producing the food, as it was so obviously cooked to order. Highly recommended.
Fabulous visit to Indiana on Friday, 11 July. I don't know why it took us so long to return to this lovely restaurant.. All the dishes were good. Given we were on the 50% off food deal, we plumped for the mixed starter for two, which we highly recommend. Won't take so long to return next time.
