Gregorio's Trattoria - Reston calificaciones y reseñas
My wife and I love Gregorios! Sometimes we go for complete meals, sometimes we go to the bar and order Calamari (ask them to flash fry it - we prefer it that way - some people prefer it crispy...cooked more), meatballs and broccollini - small meal, tasty as could be, we order wines...it’s just super!
The wait staff are kind and helpful and want your meal to be right.
This was my third trip to Gregorios and it was as good as the first two. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. There is a large variety on the menu with many different price points. We will definitely be back.
nice place to meet up with friends and not feel rushed. Busy but not stressful environment. The wait staff was nice but inexperienced. Food is good at Gregorios - I liked the garlic dip that they had when it was Mama Lucia's but the garlic knots served when you arrive are good. I had a pear salad which is very good. My husband loves their seafood pasta and he always asks for it with the spicy sauce. they are always happy to make special orders. It's a nice environment to be. They have a nice private room in the back for birthdays, business meetings, etc. I've never been there for this occasion but it would be a good option.
Go for the pIzza. My dinner companions had pizza and it looked great, they said it was very good. I was looking for a low carb option and ordered the zucchini/linguine pesto. It was really zucchini soup. It had no taste and was soaked in green liquid (actually spilling over the bowl). Very watery and flavorless.
This is our second New Year's Eve that we've had dinner at Gregorio's - Reston. The food is delicious and such a great value. We love the close proximity of the restaurant being in North Point and near home for us. The Italian offerings are great "comfort foods" -- we will be back soon!
Went there on July 3 and we were told when get had already gotten our drinks that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. UNACCEPTABLE. I do not like to be rushed while dining at a restaurant. If the restaurant wanted to close the kitchen early then it was their duty to alert us the minute we entered the establishment. Spaghetti was edible. Will not return.
The food from this fine Italian restaurant is one of the best my wife and I tasted. The pasta fagoli soup was outstanding along with the tomato sauce used for breadstick and knot dipping. The quantity of food served was ample (we ordered the veal saltimboca and baked ziti which were excell not) and it was a great value. The servers were very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our granddaughters especially enjoyed their ravioli. Next time we are in Reston to watch our granddaughters, we will eat at Gregorio's.
First time here, wife and I were looking for something different and really lucked out on this hidden gem. It's in a strip mall, about a mile or so from Reston town center, the food was overall excellent. The one item that surprised me was the marinara sauce with the bread, I found it initially sweet, but soon got used to it.
It's one limiting factor is a rather short wine list, but we found something appealing to try.
The server was pleasant but inefficient. Salads came out for all, but one, and finally the last one was delivered to our table, without apology or explanation, when the rest of us were half way through. Our main courses were delivered while we were still eating our appetizers and salads. We requested that the entrees be kept warm for a few minutes more. They were returned to the kitchen and brought back to our table in less than 5 minutes, without asking if we were ready for them, which we were not . The Shrimp dish was good, but the eggplant parm was tough, and the red sauce too salty. Before our plates were cleared, our bill was placed on the table without our server asking if anyone cared for coffee or dessert. The shrimp dish was charged incorrectly, at a higher price than listed on the menu. The server corrected it, explaining that he mistakenly charged for another shrimp dish, which was not the one we ordered. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We've been here several times before and this was the first time we were unhappy with our experience.
Sat at the bar and had an excellent bottle of Cabernet and mussels in white wine sauce to start. The veal chop was superb just the right amount of meat on the bone in heavenly treat. The lady had the chicken Francese over a bed of delightful thin spaghetti and a lemon butter sauce that made her weak in the knees. Too stuffed to go for dessert but will definitely be coming back again and got a to go New York style pizza for the kid ridiculous and heated up a piece for breakfast about the best darn leftover pizza I have ever had.
This was our first visit to Gregorio's as we are new to Reston! We decided to visit a local restaurant for New Year's Eve and this fit the bill perfectly!! Great atmosphere, friendly servers and a nice menu with many great options. My father-in-law was visiting us from out of town & agreed that it was a lovely place to dine at. I'd imagine we'll visit more and more since it is so close to our new home!
Made a reservation based on companion's previous experience. While not in a stand-alone building, this restaurant is a standout for good food and good service. As the name portrays, the menu is italian-based with a fair selection - a group could find something to both satisfy and appreciate afterwards. Servings are generous and the flavors were good. Setting is somewhat barn-like and works well for groups and for families.
