We went on a double date and everything was excellent, food, service and social distancing. I felt safe and although we were outside, it was a nice atmosphere.

They seated us and 35 min later no waiter to be seen. Got up told the hostess and she said she would send someone and again no one ever came to us. It was very disappointing. I would never go back.

Due to covid, there was no indoor dining but our server Mike was wonderful and made our last dinner date before our wedding special. The food was delicious, the wine was wonderful and we’d definitely go back again.

What a wonderful way to spend our anniversary... during the covid they made the best of a cold night. Brinkley are waitress was absolutely wonderful. We had a wonderful filet and lobster and the goey cake was amazing. We will be back and recommend for a special night out trying Fleming’s.

Fleming’s is one of my favorite restaurants for special occasions. We ate at Fleming’s this past weekend right before another lockdown in southern CA. As always, the food was amazing. Our server was very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. Unfortunate we had to sit outside in a makeshift dining area. Overall, another great experience!

Amazing steak and lobster bisque!

Food was absolutely terrible, we had to send our ribeye back because it was tough and over cooked, they brought out a filet, and honestly I’ve had better filets from the grocery store. The meat had a very weird smell to it. We filled up on sides that were not very good to begin with, since they were cold in the middle, only item we enjoyed was the calamari and the Brussels sprouts.

The outdoor seating is questionable. does not feel safe when you have cars 6" from your table. The tent is a great idea, but just feels uneasy the entire dinner. there is no barrier between the tent/table and the street. I felt like a car was going to drift into the dinning area....

They have done a good job of getting an outdoor dining experience but sadly the steak had to be returned as my medium rare was well done and grainy. So disappointing.

We had such an amazing time. We often visit steakhouses in each city we travel to. This was by far the best. The service was great. Food was excellent. Quiet and private enough.

Sat outside and it was a beautiful evening. Our bottle of wine was delicious along with my steak and my partner’s salmon were full of flavor and tender.

It was outdoor COVID dining, so good food, odd scenery. Good thing about this location is it’s a block down from Gaslamp, so the chaos is largely contained down there.

Been to every steak house and Flemmings has the best cuts and best flavors in San Diego by far, my friends say the same.

I love Flemings as a chain. I've eaten at this location twice now...once before COVID and the new rules. I'm grading on a curve here because of the difficult environment that all restaurants in San Diego are now subjected to.

That said, there were several problems with my last visit, a family dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a 7:45pm reservation, for which we arrived precisely on time. We were told the restaurant was running behind. OK with that, given the current reality. However, there was no option to allow us to be seated while we waited. There was a small spot at the bar where i was able to order a couple of $30 glasses of wine and a Diet Coke for our daughter. As I was delivering the DC to our kid, there was an other patron standing in front of my two wine glasses.. I politely told him he was standing in my spot. He got threatening and belligerent. The bar staff was of ZERO assistance. I asked for the manager to come over after the threat walked out the door to wait with his dinner party.

The manager did not offer to buy our drinks and was not very apologetic about the threatening, unresolved environment to which my family was subjected. Were the roles reversed, I would have at least done that...but no accommodation was offered.

We were seated shortly after. The service was solid, however the food arrived in a lukewarm state. For the price we paid, well over $300, I expect the food to be served piping hot. Had that happened, I would not be writing this tough review, despite the lack of decorum and control of the room before we were seated.

There are plenty of great restaurants in San Diego. They all need our support. I will think long and hard before making another reservation at this Fleming's location.

This was a birthday dinner, the experience was wonderful. We sat inside, I’m glad we did. If you are outside, the public walks between the outer and inner rows of tables, there are no privacy barricades. The food was excellent; we had the calamari appetizer which was very tasty (even if the calamari flavor was lost to the sauce), the filet mignon and ribeye steaks, and the sides of Fleming’s potatoes and creamed spinach. The steaks were tender and cooked to our order. The sides were flavorful. Dessert was the chocolate butter cake which was too rich for my taste, my husband loved it. The service was excellent, Carlos was very attentive without being intrusive. To me this is a restaurant to go to when you are celebrating a special event such as a birthday or anniversary.

Nice outdoor set up. Food is always great. Roland, our server, was attentive ,friendly and efficient. It was a treat to get out and have such a nice experience!

The restaurant itself was awesome the food was really good the Alaskan king crab was very salty and fishy smelling and the dipping butter sauce had no flavor

The food is great. The staff is attentive, but not smothering. They know the menu and make recommendations based upon what we express. It really is a special place.

Food and service were great as always. It is hard to say the ambiance was that good when you are eating outside with people walking down the sidewalk next to you. but in this time of pandemic safety protocols, the entire experience was very good. I will happily continue to return for great food.
