Excelente lugar con una comida muy buena, comimos carne. Desgraciadamente el servicio esta vez (he ido en varias ocasiones) estuvo extremadamente lento, todo lo que pedimos trado mucho lo mismo que para recoger los platos vacíos, no teníamos prisa y no somos excesivamente quisquillosos pero esta vez fue más que notorio.
It was my birthday. I was traveling on business by myself and dined alone. But I put in my open table reservation it was my birthday and they had a card for me, wished me happy birthday and put a candle on my dessert. My ribeye was excellent as was all the other food. Awesome service.

Had a last minute date night before hubby deployed. My husband and I split the tomahawk and it was perfection! We want to cone back on a Tuesday for their tomahawk Tuesday special! Already recommended it to a few people.
The server was excellent. The management wasn’t so good. We had a reservation for 8pm and weren’t seated until 8:25. You make a reservation so you don’t have to wait. I felt sorry for the hostess. They were doing all of the work and the manger(s) were standing around and not helping out their staff. Probably won’t go here again. Disappointed
Bland bland bland. Lobster bisque was about as tasty as canned tomato soup. Filet was tasteless and very poorly presented. Just a little slab of beef on an otherwise empty plate. Not a garnish in sight.
Service was very slow until we complained, then it improved a little. We won’t be returning.

Fleming's, even though an upscale chain restaurant it has always been consistent no mater what state location you go to. Dining with my friend's mom, who is elderly with a walker, the parking valet was very convenient for her. We had an Opentable 5:00 p.m. dinner reservation. I was surprised to see quite a few tables were occupied when we arrived which was nice. We couldn't ask for any better service from Colton.
We ordered cocktails while perusing the menu. Only speaking for myself, not being use to eating so early and still full from lunch only ordering the Ahi Tuna Poke Stack appetizer. Other dishes ordered were the Petite Filet Mignon, Baked Potato, and Prime Dry-Aged Ribeye. All dishes came out fresh hot, cooked to request. Everyone was very pleased in my dining group.
Atmosphere: nice upscale steak restaurant. Service: very good. Food: very good.

Wow wow wow. We had an evening to remember. I pointed out in the reservation that we were enjoying a year long birthday celebration and Flemings exceeded all of my expectations. From the time we walked into the door to the final bite of our delicious lava cake, the entire dining experience was amazing. We loved our server, the attentive service, the ambience, our table next to the fire place, and the food. If you want to experience one of San Diego’s finest restaurants, make a reservation today at Flemings La Jolla and hopefully you will be blessed with the amazing Ashten as your server.
The host put us in a quiet room near the fire which was nice. Our waiter Richard was very polite and catered to our needs. The food was flavorful and easy to eat.
Dissatisfied. The timing was completely off. Server was very nice, but the meal was over 2 hours long. I still
gave a $48 tip on a $302 bill- because it’s the right thing to do- but will not eat at Fleming’s again. It’s for suckers who think they’re getting a fine dining experience. Wish I went to George’s.
Dinner for 6 outdoors on 7/17 was a horrific experience. Outdoor seating area has less ambiance than a strip shopping center food court. We were seated immediate and order taken immediately. Then we waited over half an hour for drinks to arrive and over an hour for food to arrive. We ordered 4 steaks, all requested medium temperature. Filet #1 and rib-eye were pink inside as expected, but room temperature by the time they made it to the table. Filet #2 and strip steak were brown inside and incinerated on the outside. The server offered to remake the two burned steaks, but my son was too hungry to wait for the remade strip; so he ate part of it. The remade filet arrived 45 minutes later, after the table had been cleared. We took it home for the dog. The manager came by and agreed that the steaks were improperly cooked and offered apology and took money off the bill, but the net experience was so horrible. We sat glumly waiting for the drinks, then sat glumly waiting for the food, then sat glumly while the one with the burnt filet had nothing to eat and in fact, went home hungry. This was my sons' birthday dinner, and they came in from out of town just for this celebration. I felt like such a failure for selecting this restaurant, and for the experience which was pathetic from start to finish. It irks me greatly that I still had to pay well over $200 for the worst dining experience in my lifetime, but what really infuriates me is that the restaurant "canceled" our OpenTable reservation AFTER we had had this horrible experience, so that I would be unable to write a review. Only upon appeal was I able to get OpenTable to post the dining experience, so that I can write this review.
You would have a better quality meal at In-n-Out. And better steaks at Outback, as hilarious as that sounds.
Was looking to a great meal here, and it was certainly adequate. As restaurants struggle to regain momentum and staffing, some just get back up to speed faster then others. Cocktails trailed (only 1 BT) and I get it, no complaints on that. Steaks were both undercooked (In a steakhouse, a pricey one at that, you just have to get that correct the first time), again it happens. What did sort of hit my buttons was my waiters scripted, and ridiculous descriptions of various food items, the most memorable: magical scalloped potatoes. Really? Magical? His spiel was a little over the top for an "upscale steakhouse". I would return as Flemings usually runs at full steam in normal times, which I hope are coming back soon.
Had dinner for our 10 year anniversary. Was not disappointed. Food was great, service, ambience was as well.

Wonderful place for a date night.
The food quality was exceptional along with the service. We arrived 20 minutes early and we were still seated promptly. Hayley I. is a true gem. She provided us with the best service we have ever experienced… one would call it (VIP) treatment. Hayley was extremely kind and a genuine person. You can tell she values her job and wants her customers to have an amazing experience when dining in. I give this place 10 stars if I could 5 just because of Hayley and her exceptional service and another 5 for the amazing food! Thank you Hayley!!
The food and service was excellent. The kitchen took a long while to get the food out but that’s to be expected with the world coming back to life.
The issue we had was the ambiance. I had requested an indoor table, but there weren’t any available supposedly although we witnessed several open in the main dining room.
This would’ve been okay if they devoted just a bit of effort in sprucing up the decor on the outside tables. There’s two sections outside: the legacy area which has nice tables and chairs and some character and the add-on section that used to be part of the parking lot and is now tented and used for extra space.
We were unfortunately seated in the add-on section which looks like something from a bad banquet area at a hotel. In fact, I’m wondering if they literally borrowed the sets from the hotel across the way! Anyways, no thought or consideration to adding a plant in the middle of the table or even salt and pepper canisters! It was uninspiring and didn’t match up to the price point of restaurant.
I was looking forward to dining at Flemings and had decided to reserve as I had researched for the last several weeks and read so many AMAZING reviews! I always surprise my husband with a steakhouse dinner for date night to celebrate his special day! Husband’s Birthday / Father’s Day Celebration which was specified in my reservation, hostess was not accommodating at all and really started off our experience on a negative note telling us we were sitting outside no questions asked with quite an attitude in her tone and unpleasant demeanor. The other hostess was a bit more friendly and apologetic but it just felt awkward in the long run. We understand this was the first weekend of San Diego being fully open under the Covid-19 circumstances and restrictions being lifted but the restaurant was not prepared and you noticed this right away. Once seated we were greeted by our table assistant server with water and bread (respectful gentleman) then soon after our server for a round of drinks(she was pleasant) The timing of our appetizers (calamari yummy but not very warm) main dishes were lukewarm as well and my husband’s filet mignon you could tell it had been sitting for a bit, super over cooked on the outside. Again our server was as chipper as she could be due to the situation but you could could feel that stress of all the employees you were in contact with. I don’t usually write reviews and have worked in restaurants and customer service roles throughout my lifetime so I genuinely understand a certain aspect being the employee on the otherwise. We were incredibly disappointed by our dining experience and overall didn’t hit the mark! My husband is sweet and understanding but he agreed everything was off. We went to a different restaurant the next day for Father’s Day lunch and our overall experience from being greeted by the friendly hostesses, seated quickly, nice area for outdoor dining, service, food / drinks were a complete 360 in the positive direction.
Great location, but 2 if our 4 steaks were cold and extremely under cooked. Sides were tasty, get the brussel sprouts

The La Jolla location does not match up to the standards we've come to expect from our experiences in Tucson, AZ. The food was not very hot. The manager was present, but he never once made eye contact. This team seems sad.
