A real special treat - excellent food and service and a wonderful, calm yet jolly atmosphere.

This Turkish restaurant is an absolute gem. We always enjoy going there and obviously will be going there again in the not too distant future .

2nd time. Brilliant. All good and zero to complain about. Go if you haven’t already.

I have been dining here for years and everything is of the highest standard. I have never eaten anything that was less than very good. Beautifully presented and flavourful food in pleasant surroundings. An ideal place for a special occasion too as staff will make the effort for you.

Decided to go to The Loch and Tyne for our wedding anniversary as we had heard that the food was lovely. Had a good corner table for 2 which was just right. Having looked at the menu , hubby had fish and chips which looked and tasted delicious. I had the sea bass special and as I didn't want the shellfish sauce, the sea bass was cooked in butter and it was yummy. We started with sourdough bread and various toppings together with cheese doughnuts . Very tasty. The desserts were chocolate fondant and panna cotta . I was so full that I could not do justice to the chocolate fondant which was such a shame as it was very morish. We had a glass of white wine each , chardonnay and a Sicilian one, both of which complemented the meal. I particularly noticed that there was no salt or pepper on the table but I didn't need the seasonings as the food was well seasoned and to my liking. We particularly liked the ambience. Whilst 2 tables were occupied with young children , they did not impact on our enjoyment at all. When we left, we were given a card wishing us a happy anniversary. We were very touched. Would we recommend the The Loch and Tyne - definitely YES! Would we go back - certainly will!
