Welcome to the Kings Head in Coltishall! We are a traditional village pub located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. We pride ourselves on our warm atmosphere and classic British pub food. At the Kings Head, you'll find a great selection of cask ales, lagers, wines and spirits at the bar. Our menu features pub classics like fish and chips as, as well as daily specials made with fresh, local ingredients. We also have a fantastic A la carte menue & On Sundays, we serve a delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings. The pub has plenty of seating in our main bar area, restaurant and beer garden so you can always find a spot. We're located right in the village just a short walk from the River Bure. It's the perfect place to stop for a pint and a bite after a day cruising the Broads or exploring the countryside. There's free parking available right outside the pub.

    Had a lovely little lunch with a friend I had a very delicious King Prawn Tagliatelle and she had lamb’s liver. Both excellent. Friendly efficient staff with a chef that knows about flavour! I have a holiday let and will be recommending to my guests. Thanks.

    Excellent Sunday roast. The Pork and Beef were the best we've eaten in a pub. Thick cut and very tender. Service was great too!

    We had a luncheon after interring my parents’ ashes yesterday at Norfolk Bluebell Wood, with 14 in attendance. The Chequers team was fantastic! They set us up in a beautiful side room that allowed our large group some privacy and the ability to visit together. The food was absolutely delicious and service was fantastic! I am an American visiting relations in Norfolk and our family highly recommends The Chequers!

    Fantastic meal and stay to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. Everything was superb from the spa, to the room, to dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend and return in a heartbeat. Thank you!
