Steersons returns to King Street Wharf completely reimagined. A new menu, a new wine list, a new executive chef and a dining room redesigned from the ground up, with the harbour and the open fire exactly where they have always been.The menu is built around the grill and the water it looks out on. Premium beef from four producers across New South Wales and Queensland, selected cut by cut for breed, region and flavour profile. Seafood sourced from Australian waters, from Spencer Gulf kingfish to Merimbula oysters. A wine list chosen to work with the food rather than simply accompany it.Lunch at Steersons is a different experience from dinner and worth the trip on its own terms. The lunch menu is concise, the harbour is at its best in the middle of the day and the room is quieter for it.     We did the tasting menu for $128pp, and the experience was just incredible. The quality of every product, every flavour, and every dish was absolutely perfect. My partner and I love trying this kind of tasting menu, and this one was, by far, the best we’ve had in years. Ramon also made the experience even more special by beautifully explaining the history of the restaurant, its background and goals, as well as all the details behind each dish. His explanations really elevated the whole experience to another level. The chef even came to our table to make sure we were enjoying everything, which was a lovely touch. In summary, we highly recommend Olio. Definitely one of the best food experiences we’ve had in Sydney! ❤️

    This is an exceptional Korean omakase experience and will definitely be back to try the new menu. Every dish was chef's kiss and can't wait to whip up some dishes with the soy sauce gift.
