    We had a fantastic time at Bowley's. The food was delicious, imaginative, intensely flavoured and beautifully presented. At least some of the vegetables come from their own allotment. As a coeliac, I was very impressed with the choices on offer, with thoughtful and delicious adaptations, substitutions and alternatives available. The menu is reassuringly limited, catering to non-meat eaters and vegetarians as well as coeliacs - and those with no dietary requirements. We drank a very nice local (Kent) rose wine. The young FoH team were very engaged, well-informed, but not overbearing or fussy. Tables are spaced to give privacy, but also we enjoyed the general buzz of conversation. The food was genuinely some of the best I've eaten (and I've eaten a lot over the past 60 years or so). The experience overall was delightful.

    This was our favourite meal we have ever had!!! The food was absolutely incredible, every single dish (even the rice) blew us away. This was for my partners birthday and it was such a special place to celebrate. Thank you for making it so special!! 100% our new favourite restaurant ever !!

    Our second visit and, again, absolutely superb food. Highly recommended. The depth of flavour in the dishes was remarkable. The accompanying flight of wines was a revelation in how each one enhanced the flavour experience of the dish.
