Lovely dining experience celebrating our daughters special birthday. Very good value for money and the cocktails were amazing!

The food, service and venue were all great. The food was excellent, dining on a Thursday early evening there is a 4 course set menu or a la carte. Both are excellent value and the range of dishes is great. Those featuring the local pork were particularly outstanding - if you are hungry I would recommend the pork sharing bites over drinks first as it shows off the meat superbly. All the dishes we had across the table were both delicious and very well presented and I particularly enjoyed my cured Monkfish followed by Venison. An absolute must is to order the side of hash browns, amazing! Service was superb too. Very friendly, warm and helpful. Everything was faultless on that front. Venue is also great. On a working farm, the restaurant building and surrounding are really beautiful and the huge panoramic window of the dining room is really great. Comfy chairs and really nice decor. Again, top marks for the place itself. A special plus is for the value. I think, for the high standard and quality on offer, the value of the meal was excellent. And an amazing well priced wine menu as well, lots of great drinks by the glass including some exceptional coravin offerings that are very keenly priced too - 2009 Langoa Barton was a real treat! First visit here and will not be the last. We definitely want to come back to try both the main tasting menu and the Sunday lunch - if we can get in. Highly recommended.
