I've dined at your restaurant many times and never had a problem. This time, the pizza ovens were broken, the soda machine was broken, they didn't have any bread (who ever heard of that) and the salads came out at the end of the meal as an oversight. Very disappointing. I would still come back because the food is always good. Not sure what went wrong this time.
It's my favorite restuarant in Laconia. I've not had a bad meal in the 4or 5 times I've been.
We had reservations for 6:00 pm. There was a large party, so we were not able to be seated since all of their servers were busy with this very large party. We were asked if we would like to sit at the bar to wait. We ordered a nicely made drink and a delicious appetizer. About a half hour later, we were told the large party had just gotten their food, and asked if we would like to eat at the bar instead of waiting for our table. I do not like eating at a bar, so we decided to wait. We finished our appetizer and drink and had to wait about another ten minutes, and then were shown to our table. The server was attentive and we both ordered the special, which was fabulous! This restaurant would have gotten the highest rating were it not for the inconvenience of waiting for our reservation. We were not given any compensation despite having to wait nearly an hour to be seated. A few more minutes at the bar and we would have gone elsewhere and missed a delicious dinner.
We made a reservation for a large group (14 people) at this restaurant. They totally took care of us! We had our own area and 2 waitresses taking care of our table. The food was delicious & service was fast & accurate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
We had an odd experience here. Our hostess made us wait for over a minute to seat us after being on her computer.
Our waitress asked us twice if we wanted bread, had to be asked for water on several occasions and was just average. The food we ordered was delicious -- we had the house shrimp special appetizer and chicken piccata over linguine. Atmosphere was very nice; portions were adequate, yet prices
were high for the food on the plate. I am not sure I would run back here.
We went on Saturday 2/16/19 Not sure if short handed but place was packed and only one bartender took 40 min for a beer from tap and glass of wine second round of drinks took 30 min otherwise great food. Waitress apologetic for bar service being so slow
Friendly service, nice four course meal for Valentine’s Day, we showed up 20 minutes early and they were still able to seat us upon arrival, was a little disappointed they ran out of cheesecake

Restaurant and staff were great but our only criticism is, the restaurant was cold. We all had to keep our coats on.

I have been to this restaurant before and I’ve had good service and a wonderful meal. We went Saturday night on Columbus Day weekend and I believe they were understaffed. It took 50 minutes to get our salad. Our waitress didn’t think to check in with us and let us know that the kitchen was backed up despite walking past us numerous times. We had to track her down and inquire.. Our meal came 20 minutes after that and my chicken was not edible as it was overcooked . We did complain about my meal and the manager comped it . Since I’ve had a good meal there before I might try them again, but only in the middle of the summer when I know they are fully staffed.
My husband and I went here for a "date night" on a Friday, but ended up sitting with friends ~ another couple. We all had lots of fun. The food was very good. I'd say the food was good, but not a great value. I had some seasonal ravioli, as featured on the nightly special menu. The raviolis were delicious, but there were just a few of them on the plate. The total bill was a bit pricier than some other local restaurants, that serve food just as good. But the view/deck is spectacular. We could see Lake Winnipesaukee, from across Route 3. I had one of the BEST drinks I've ever had. A Coconut Cream Martini! Delicious ~ almost like dessert in a glass. This was the first time that any of the four of us had eaten at this restaurant, since it was bought and renovated by the new owners. We all thought it was a very rustic but elegant decor, pleasant overall atmosphere, with very prompt, professional service, and nice wait-staff. We enjoyed ourselves.
The ravioli was so fresh. Great sauces. Very nice atmosphere...lounge was awesome. Great look but not too fancy. Looks better inside than the outside which is deceiving like a seafood restaurant with a lighthouse. Very surprised how nice it was inside. Definitely recommend it. Would be super busy in summer since it’s right on the Weirs beach area. Was busy end of sept., would not attempt it during motorcycle week. Delicious place.

Server mollie was great! Kitchen and bar were on the slow end.
sorry but the food was poor! i had ravioli and it was not cook and the filling was not beef. i never send food back but i could not eat it., my husband is a chef and i now good food and that was not. my son had veal with pasta , veal was card board , the cheese was burnt on, not melted, the sauce tasted like beefaroni from a can. you had good bread!

We were not familiar with this area and just happen to book a reservation at the Faro Italian Grill on Open Table. We were not disappointed. The service was great our server had good recommendations for both food and wine options. There was at least 5 different specials offered in addition to a good size menu. I got the salmon which I loved. My friends got the specials and were very pleased with their meals as well. The portions were generous. The only negative is that we were seated by the door to the outside seating and it was distracting.
A nice place in between upscale and casual. A good fit for the environment. Food was high average. We had more expensive entrees, but other folks seemed to be enjoying the comfort food, pizza, etc.
We loved our experience. The restaurant was understaffed so I would have to give service not adequate.however, our waitress did her best to meet our needs. We could have used another drink check in but had to go for a concert at the Pavillion. Pizza was delicious, had a great salad w spinach strawberries, nice and fresh. Another guest had surf and turf special for $25 and was happy except he needed a side/) and a good review of chicken parm. We would come agaib
We had been meaning to try this place, but usually on a Monday or Tuesday when they are closed! Finally went early on a Friday night and were not disappointed.

Had a wonderful, professional and personable waitress and the Italian food was quite good. However, beware, they are known to just close the doors early if they are not that busy. This happened to us at 6pm one evening in June when three of us were turned away after driving 20 miles for dinner there.
Have been here many times, but this last time the menu choices were not as good as in the past. The general noise level was high. Many at my table had to compete with the restaurant's loudness to carry on a conversation amongst themselves. I understand that the owners will be opening a "scaled down" Faro's Restaurant in the same area. It appears that the scaling down has also occurred at this main site. I am not sure that my family will choose Faros for dining in the future. Maybe outside on the patio and pizza as a food choice is more acceptable for eating at Faros!
Everything was very good! We sat outside with view of the lake. We have been there many times with inconsistent service and overall ratings. However on this occasion everything was great
We love your restaurant. One suggestion is to serve dipping oil instead of the shredded cheese and then you have to make your own.
Great new decor & food was delicious
Fantastic service and meal once again. The happy hour Filet and lobster tail for $25 is worth arriving before 6 pm. Our waitress Molly was superb.

We grabbed dinner here before a concert nearby. Overall, it was a great experience because we were with good friends, sitting outside on a hot summer night. Food was fair though. We had king crab legs which were good, but the rib-eye steak special we ordered was cooked well when we asked for medium rare. Both pasta dishes we ordered were overcooked. Waitress was friendly but service was slow. Dessert was good supposedly from Modern Pastry. Not sure I would go again as we paid a lot for dinner and don't feel like we got our money's worth.

Nothing good to say about our meal at Faro, but nothing was really bad either. The waiter came back time and again to tell us what we ordered (that he offered and described) was not available, from wine to entree to dessert. Portions we're small except for the chicken parmigiana which also looked delicious though I didn't have it. Food was fine but nothing special, not worth the price. The best part was dessert which were all good, but no Italian desserts! No tirimisu, no cannoli.... Atmosphere was nice but loud as many restaurants are.
So, nothing bad, but there are better places in the area - I wouldn't recommend it.
the food is always good at Faro and our waiter Robert was excellent , don't let the tents before bike week scare you away. A little disappointed that the eggplant is gone from the menu but the chicken parm was excellent and the calamari was cooked perfect.
