West Village

The sophomore restaurant from Don Angie’s Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli gives coastal Italian-American favorites a spirited spin. We’re talking dill-spiked crab-and-mortadella dip, pasta alle vongole given a shot of heat with aji amarillo, and shrimp parm with a sweet and sour arrabbiata. Although the menu leans playful, the sexy dining room and serious cocktails that don’t take themselves too seriously (think: a martini with “garlic bread” vodka) make this a decidedly grown-up second effort.

MICHELIN-pedigreed chef Melissa Rodriguez joined forces with Tao Group Hospitality to open this swanky steakhouse in Chelsea in late 2024. Ruby-hued velvet seating and gold-leaf walls set the stage for a feast of flame-kissed vegetables and impressive mains like a 50-ounce porterhouse cooked over a custom, 12-foot Mibrasa grill. Add in a tableside raw bar cart featuring oysters and caviar service, plus a 1,000-bottle-deep wine list, and you have all the ingredients for a fancy night out.
