If you like pink food, them you've come to the right place. I, for one, do not and thought it was terrible. I sent back the entree because it looked like a pink highlighter leaked onto my plate. Yuck. The black bean soup however was outstanding
If I, Robot featured a nice restaurant this would be it. Food and drinks were pretty good but was spoiled a bit by service and ambiance. The restaurant is incredibly loud making it hard to hear even the person next to you. The service was interesting to say the least. It almost appeared to be overstaffed resulting in a fairly bizarre experience with staff constantly, robotically hovering around the table. When they conversed it was very stiff and awkward and they had very clear dishes they were instructed to push.
Amazing food and top notch service
Beautifully presented Mexican gourmet food, delicious. Small portions.
Comida espectacular, servicio muy bueno
One of the best restaurants in Mexico DF. We will see this restaurant in the 50 world best listing very soon.
Mucho ruido, pocas nueces. Nada excepcional.
Art, flavor, service all combined. Impeccable.
It was our first night in Mexico City and we started our trip with a bang. It was hands down our favorite restaurant on our visit in Mexico City. The food had the authentic flavor of Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Beautiful presentation! Highly recommend!!!
We came to Dulce Patria with plenty of hope and promise of a great meal and evening but were disappointed. Much of the experience seemed dated. The décor was a bit tacky and unnecessary. The service was lacking and seemed overbearing. At some point it kicked into high gear when we hinted at ordering a second bottle of wine, as if then they noticed we were there to spend some good money. The menu was very interesting and needed a bit of explanation which was explained to a point. However, once we received our food, it was underwhelming. The intricate and unnecessary presentation of the food took away from the actual flavor and quality of the food. Then the waiter would come over and try to serve you the food with makeshift tongs from a fork and spoon and completely destroy the dish. Like, just use the fork and place it on my plate, no need to squeeze it with your MacGuiver tongs(or get some actual tongs). I ordered a Mole with duck, which I was very excited about, but the duck was cut into very small pieces and cooked well done which sort of defeats the purpose of even using duck. It may as well have been chicken. The whole place seems like it tries too hard to be something super elegant and fine instead of concentrating on making the food excellent in a simple way that makes sense.
TODO ESTUVO EXCELENTE, EL SERVICIO, LOSS ALIMENTOS, LAS BEBIDAS, EL LUGAR.
Dulce Patria was the best meal we had in Mexico City. Completely outstanding.
Great food and service! but the vibe was too low
Incredible presentation food, that wasn't backed up by taste. They get an A+ for food presentation, but most dishes were fairly dissapointing. We tried the ceviche, the taquitos, guacamole, duck, soups and fish. All were fine, but not worthy of the reviews and praise. Prices were still fair.
Un servicio impecable, la comida esquisita. Una experiencia excelente.
We enjoyed dining at dulce patria. The food was excellent as was the service. The food presentation is outstanding!!!! Also, excellent drinks.
The service was not up to the level of the food/restaurant. The waiter forgot what we ordered, and our appetizers arrived at different times. Then the entree was served while we were still finishing appetizers. That said, the food was delicious
Really great food! Everything we ordered was simply delicious. Highly recommended. If you don't like mescal, try it with the orange, and worms. Be careful in trying to find it.
I was very impressed with the food and the level of service here.
We always love going here. MARTHA is an amazing artistic chef
Great! Amazing food and service!
Serice, food, presentation and location are all amazing. Will definitely return!
I would have given the restaurant 1/2 star if I could. The food was tasteless, the service horrible and the ambiance nonexistent. We ordered about 6 different dishes, one worse than the other. The salmon tostadas best feature were the butterfly shaped tortillas, otherwise the fish itself was drenched in the chile mayonnaise that was overpowering. The corn in Esquites was extremely chewy and hard to eat. The Emerald green broth was just that green and tasteless with some grass clippings. The fruit soup was what tasted like butternut squash base with a few pieces of raw apples. There was another dish that tasted like Doritos, half a bite and we had to send it back.
Probably the best dish was the Mexican Caesar salad, the cocktails were good but too skimpy on alcohol. There are sooo many better restaurants in Polanco that you could definitely skip this one.
Spectacularly delicious and gorgeous food. The menu is intriguing and if you need help ordering, the staff was helpful and accommodating. My family keeps returning.
Excelente opción para Polanco
