Duke's La Jolla

They were closed. Which is lame because we reserved a table and went there.

We always come back to Duke’s! The atmosphere is unlike any other. The service is outstanding and the food is great!

Great service & delicious food! I had the seared ahi and it was cooked perfectly.

The food was not nearly like the restaurant in Hawaii, but like a cafeteria food quality. Very disappointing.

Celebrated a Special Birthday. The scenic view of the water, great service, and delicious food made it extra special. Birthday Hula Pie made the celebration the best.

The only thing this Dukes has going for it are the views. There is no denying that the views are gorgeous. However, their customer service is absolutely terrible. We went there intending on having anniversary drinks, appetizers and dinner. We were so disgusted by the hostesses' and waiter's attitudes that we left after the drinks and appetizer to have dinner elsewhere. We love other Dukes restaurants, but we will never bother with this one again.

Thanksgiving 2019 was Dukes in Hawaii.

We went for a birthday dinner. Service was excellent. Food was not great.

First we LOVE Duke’s it’s our go to place. We purposefully made reservations to be there at sunset and were seated at a table with a great view . BUT an employee stood talking to the table in front of us for over 20 minutes BLOCKING my view . All the other staff were practicing socially distancing and quickly moving along with the except of this one. No apologies for doing so and for being less than 6 feet from us the whole time as well .

The food , drinks and our service were amazing as always. Our server made amazing recommendations for both appetizers (you must try the Calamari) and the main dish the hot pot.

Very beautiful setting, delicious food!

It was a strange Thanksgiving but being at Dukes made us all happy. Setting, service and food were all great. Our waiter was so comforting and attendant to our every need and we had a great corner table. Could not have been nicer.

The coconut crusted shrimp appetizer was delicious and my seafood hot pot was so creamy and melt in your mouth delectable! The mac nut crusted mahi mahi, fish tacos and bbq combo plates were wonderful as well. My son commented that his mango bbq ribs were fork tender, no need for a knife at all. We finished with a trio of desserts, the seasonal apple ice cream pie & the key lime pie, but the highlight was the hula pie! Our server was professional and friendly and very knowledgeable with the menu and drinks. We had a fantastic Hawaiian Thanksgiving Dinner!

We had a beautiful table overlooking the waterfront. The calamari is highly recommended. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Such a great location and view. Great food and service too.

Fabulous view, fantastic food, great COVID-19 precautions. Tables were actually spaced appropriately, not 6 feet from table edge to table edge so when you insert people you are really only about a foot apart like most restaurants. Felt very comfortable eating here and staff was more than pleasant. Great job!!

Everything about Duke's was exceptional. The open-air patio ambiance and great service just added to the delicious appetizers, delectable entrées and indulgent desserts.

Perfect patio table, great view, food was tasty and fairly priced and the service was excellent. Great experience in very tough times for restaurants.
