We ordered the ribs and chicken plate and Omaha steak. Unfortunately the steak was tough and the rib and chicken plate was cold, ribs were dry and the sauce was clumpy and more like a jam that was slathered on top, and sides were not fresh, cucumbers were soggy and limp, macaroni salad was sour, the rice and chicken were ok. Would not recommend the food for the price. Overall our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The view is nice, but we left feeling disappointed in the quality given what we paid for. You pay for the view.

Service from hostess to table was with minimal delay. Waiter was pleasant & took order quickly. Food prices very $$$$$! Ordered full King Crab dinner and was not disappointed. Open air dining in close proximity to other guests.

Dinner at Dukes on Kalapaki Bay is a must at least once every trip to Kauai!!! Always a special occasion and this was no exception. Our server, Becka, was wonderful and helpful with suggestions. We learned that Dukes is now serving Sunday Brunch from 9-12 so we made a reservation for the next day and we enjoyed that so much!!! Amazing selection of foods including even shrimp cocktail!!!

The design and layout is amazing, upon entering the back wall is totally tropical with a stream flowing down it from the 2nd floor, you know this place is something special. We were seated on the second floor with an amazing view of the water. It was great. The service was excellent! We really enjoyed the all you can eat salad buffet, the great choice of meals to that Hula Pie which is something special, you’ve got to try it. We’ll be back!

We were seated promptly and the service was excellent. The only negative aspect of the evening was the food was not that hot. The flavor was good, but it was just lukewarm temperature.

We dined as a party of 4, with our teens. The baked swordfish and furikake ahi tuna were just okay, we've definitely had better and paid less for it. The tuna quality was poor, it had a tough membrane that was difficult to chew. Drinks seemed watered down. Our daughter enjoyed the fresh catch mac nut crusted mahi mahi and our son really liked the coconut shrimp. We all felt the portion sizes were small, except for the amazing twist hula pie! Would return, but only for dessert!!

This place is overrated. Food is ok, service was average and similar to a supper club. The live music and the Hula Pie are the best though!

The restaurant seemed dated and needs a really good cleaning and makeover. The salad bar is minimalist at best. A lot of the condiments at the salad bar we’re missing and not replaced in a timely manner. More choices needed for the price. The carrots that came with my main course were undercooked but the fish tasted fresh.
