Daiquiri Dick's Restaurant, Bar & Grill

Forget the name-this restaurant in NOT Senior Frogs! Been eating here all week including Le Kliff and the Iguana restaurant. This place ranks up there with those if not more. Get a table on the patio area to avoid some of the beach vendors. Order the whole snapper served on a roasting spit. Just spectacular!

It has been 15 years since we last dined at Daiquiri Dicks on our honeymoon and we had to make a return trip while in the area. The food and service were superb and the ambiance with the outdoor seating was again lovely. While the name may make you think of some party restaurant this place takes what they do seriously and the overall experience is fantastic!

Daiquiri Dick's is one of our favorite restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner are consistently delicious, with a wide assortment of regional choices. Their Margarita Linda is over the top!

We have been coming to this restaurant for a number of years. The food is always good and the setting by the beach is great. What I do object to is that when you pay the bill the wait staff pressure you into giving them their tip in cash not on a credit card and when you don’t they make it abundantly clear that they are not happy. I basically said to the waiter he had a choice put it on the credit card or don’t get a tip.

Great table. Attentive waiter and delicious food. Our friends had not been there before and they are still talking about the meal. A very enjoyable evening in all respects.

The servers were very attentive. The restaurant, which was beachfront, was clean and well maintained. I had the Chinese chicken salad. It was delicious, however lacked enough dressing but that was quickly remedied with an extra side of dressing.

I would recommend only if the service got fit her. The venue is very nice, food was good and the noise level was acceptable.

A very welcoming and upbeat restaurant with outdoor seating and view of the beach. I had sea bass cooked to perfection. The margaritas were great!

Loved our experience last year and opted for a repeat this year with new guests. Service was slow and had to flag down any servers. It was not that crowded but he got 2 large tables on top of our 8 so it got busy for him. Catch of the day was not specific and being allergic to sea bass, I got a local fish from that same family of bass and had a bad reaction. Beef was tough on another entree but our desserts were great. Not a write off but a little disappointed.

Great & friendly staff

Fun, upbeat, colorful outdoor dining experience. Delightful people watching in Olas Altas on the beach. Delicious, fresh seafood cooked to perfection enjoyed with friends made for a wonderful evening. However, we’ve decided we’re not big fans of frozen daiquiris, we’ll order a pitcher of sangria next time.

Beautiful spot with great food. Located at playa des muertos which is in the hot spot of the evening activity. After dinner stroll the beach and take in the scene.

Not quite perfect, but still excellent. Noisier than usual, and the wait staff was extremely busy. I appreciate the specials menu, but would like to see some changes to the main menu. The dishes seem to have remained unchanged for a long time.

Best food I’ve had in PV, been coming for 5 years

A very nice lunch with friends we hadn’t seen for a year. We had a lot of catching up to do and we were able to do it at a relaxed pace - no feeling of being rushed but service was there when we needed it.

One of our favorite restaurants when traveling to Puerto Vallarta. Delicious food, great ambiance, wonderful hospitality!

Food was average. Popular place. Went on Valentines’s day. Every table full, which made it quite noisy. I would prefer less tables to keep volume down. Corn chowder was excellent. Black bean soup ok. Was very thin but good flavor. Shared the jumbo shrimp dinner was not even close to jumbo. Other couple shared pork chop which they liked. The music was terrible. Hopefully, the person there only for Valentine’s day.

Easy to make reservations. Great location for sunsets and boardwalk. Food was great. Price was same as other places.

Another visit to PV and another great meal at DD. Food & service were excellent. Children’s meals (big portions of fish fingers & fries, and Mac & cheese) arrived quickly, as did delicious Asian chicken salad and Caesar salad for the adults. Shrimp tacos were yummy & very filling (doggy bag required). Pasta with chicken also big & very tasty. Salmon was delicious. Perch was also a delicious big portion. Service was very attentive and well-paced. A very enjoyable evening.

Love this place! Highly recommend fish in a stick and Mongolian pork.

My sister needs gluten-free food. Servers and chef were very accommodating. We had a lovely time, just after sunset. We were glad we had a reservation and arrived on time for a table “inside” with great view of the evening sky and pirate boat at sea.
