Shadow Creek is a quiet little vineyard hideaway at the McLaren Vale end of the Fleurieu – think gum trees, big skies and rows of vines rolling down towards Gulf St Vincent. Our cellar door feels more like a relaxed friends’ lunch than a formal tasting room, with generous tastings, shared plates and pizzas designed to graze over for a few hours.We farm regeneratively and talk “farm to glass” more than points and medals – the wines are small-batch, estate grown and poured just metres from where the grapes were picked. Set on a secluded no-through road, Shadow Creek is made for lingering: Fiano on the lawn, Grenache overlooking the creekline, and the occasional alpaca watching from over yonder.Book in for a wine tasting that rolls easily into a long lunch, stay for the view and the conversation, and leave feeling like you’ve discovered a very local secret in McLaren Vale.

    We booked a wine tasting experience- we were doing a winery tour with trail hoppers. We had a reserved table & each tasting was brought to our table - we probably needed a little longer than the 1 hour stop but the winery ensured we had all tastings before we left - it was $20 for the tasting which we thought was reasonable for the wines we tasted (think it was about 5).

    Great place for wine tasting. Poppy watched my granddaughter as we did a wine tasting. Plenty of place for her to roam around and play outside games. Loved the white shiraz. Highly recommend

    My husband and I just had the most wonderful dining experience at Fiore! We had the Nonna’s table set menu and it was so good! Seriously, you will not be disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and such an authentic Italian Nonna’s dinner table experience. The value for money is fantastic, given the amount of food served. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The whole vibe was authentically Italian and it felt like we were dining in Italy. We’ll definitely be back.
