DISUKO, cued from Tokyo 1980, split into elements that define the time. Open-air dining, shared izakaya, omakase for occasion, music always.Refound on Melbourne’s city skyline, DISUKO brings those moments forward in a lively and layered setting. Our nomikai, the Terracotta Roof, offers after-hours respite and weekend ease, the izakaya lounge gathers friends over plates made to share, and omakase offers pause for a theatrical food occasion. Each element tied by vinyl selectors, we honour Tokyo’s DISUKO era. A place to reminisce or experience something new in what was Japan's decade of excellent excess — the sake, the ease, the rhythm.

Went here for dinner with a friend and we ordered a few dishes to share. The wagyu nigiri, wagyu foie gras nigiri and futo maki were our favourites. We liked the foie gras nigiri enough to order another serve. The assorted skewers and mini wagyu tataki don were okay, but we preferred the other dishes. The food came out pretty quickly and the service was good. The place had a lively atmosphere, although the tables were a little cramped, with not much space between them, which made it a bit less comfortable. Overall, a pretty good dinner and a nice night out.
