For many years, William had wanted to open his own restaurant & finally he has. "The Cart Shed".Showcasing the best of local and seasonal food, much of which will have been produced on the family farm, but we aim not to travel more than 10 miles for any of our ingredients (except for the odd exotic like lemons for your G&T).We have rejuvenated the horticultural side of the farm. Along with poultry, quail and squab pigeons the farm is providing much of the food served in the restaurant.William & his friends will also be out with their guns & fishing rods to provide a little wild meat for the table such as venison, partridge, trout not to mention the humble wood pigeon and rabbit.After a couple of years of interruption caused by COVID & life things are now back to normal with a new team & a newly refurbished restaurant.We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. My husband and I went for evening dinner. A very comfortable setting - like eating at a friends. Excellent service and food came quickly. I had the skate and hubby the calf’s liver and pancetta. Both were perfectly cooked. We plan to visit weekly now. Also desserts to die for. This was our 2nd visit in 2 weeks.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we loved it. Great food, everything we had from pizzas to pasta dishes was delicious. Great service and would definitely recommend. Look forward to visiting again. Thank you ☺️

It was an amazing experience. A super limited menu, which shows everything is made fresh and knowing everything is produced, forged or locally sourced. The service was very fun and looked after, without being over bearing. The food was generous and so delicious! A must visit and I'm looking forward to returning!
