Excellent wine, food and service! 5 stars, and will definitely be coming back!
We have a great birthday dinner for my MIL The food was great- and our service by Mo was impeccable.
Waiter was absoultey amazing. Very comptent and apologetic for the wait for food. I would give him a 10/10 for service
We were very impressed for our first time at Cooper's Hawk. I've heard nothing but excellent things from others, and I can see why! Service was great, food was excellent. We'll definitely come again and recommend to others!
My only complaint is the noise level. We had a hard time hearing each other across the table. Otherwise, great good and top notch service.
Considering this was my first visit to this restaurant i didn't know what to expect. My wife and I were blown away by their amazing service, food, wine, and reasonable prices. We will definitely go back again and eventually become a member of their wine club. The sweet red wine was the best I've had at any other winery.
Great pre dinner drinks at the bar, great food but service not as good as past visits. Still would recommend to fellow diners.
Also, their wines are very good.
Excellent service and excellent food!
The food was delicious, we were seated quickly even though we arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, and the service was good.
We sat for a VERY long time without any service at all until the manager finally took our drink order. The waitress then followed up and over compensated by dropping by our table every chance she got, once seemingly for nothing more than conversation. They asked us about the wine club three separate times even though we showed no interest. And about half way through the meal the lights were turned from seriously dark ambiance to you can’t even see what you are eating levels. The food was mediocre and no one thanks us for our patience or our patronage as we left...it was as though they truly didn’t care.
food had been sitting under heating lamps far too long, very dry and tasteless
I like going to Coopers Hawk. It's a good value for money. The wines are good (not great) and prices are fair, the food is very good and prices are good.
One of the few good options for good food in the Ashburn area.
Service is normally slow, but I think it's OK after you got your first glass of wine and can enjoy it while you wait.
Many reasonably priced options from salads to sandwiches to full entrees. Nice wine selection and allow you to sample before you make your choice!
My friends and I had our Quarterly Brunch there last week and had an excellent afternoon. Our Server, Ricky, was great and answered all of our questions about the menu! He even gave us pointers on when to come for Happy Hour.
Food tasted great although one person thought the Calamari was too crunchy:( All other meals, salmon, baramundi, flatbreads, etc were delicious.
We will definitely be back again.
Our waiter Asin was the best even though it was his third day he was great.
Appetizers and wine were great. Main courses very mediocre.
Food and service were outstanding...special shout out to our fabulous waiter Skyler. He was efficient, polite and knowledgeable.
This was our first time. The Romance Red wine is sweet and delicious and aroma is equally good.
I got the maple crusted pork chops... it was to die for and way too much food for one person. This place does not disappoint.
The service and food were great, the wait time was not too long.
Excellent restaurant. Recommend the Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizer. Excellent selection of wines and entrees are delicious.
Recommend using Open Table for reservations as the wait is long for walk ins.
Husband and I went here for our anniversary. I’ve been here before the food is always amazing and since their winery and they have a great wine list. Our server was fabulous. Despite the fact that it was very busy on a Friday night as it usually is, he was very attentive and we didn’t feel like we were being rushed at all.
This place never disappoints!
Loved my experience here. I had a business lunch. Skyler, our waiter was fabulous, very attentive and prompt. The food was smashing. Yummy. I didn't have a great experience at the Reston location, near my home but Ashburn totally redeemed my thoughts on Cooper's Hawk. With Skyler's recommendation, I even joined the Wine Club. Cant wait to return. thanks for the fun. Cher
Great food and wine! Recommend a wine tasting before dinner if you can.
The staff is extremely nice. The manager came by to apologize for the delay on getting our appetizers to us in a timely manner and was nice enough to offer us soup or salad to start. offered Our waitress was great as well; both employees were trying their best to accommodate which was very much appreciated.
The only thing that was frustrating was the time it took to get our food out. We had reservations at prime dinner time and noticed the restaurant got busy right at 7pm. I feel like they could better staff maybe in the kitchen and out on the floor, so people aren’t waiting for others to get their food out on time.
Definitely love their food and will give it another shot!
Food is always good and consistent. Unfortunately, Service is also consistently sub par. Begged my husband to meet friends there since I love the menu...we were seated first and did not receive a glass of wine until our friends arrived 10 minutes later. Waited an unreasonable amount of time to order and our friends ordered their drink, appetizer and entree all at the same time since it was clear we would wait. Waitress was friendly, they just Never seem to have it together at host station or wait staff.
Coopers Hawk was everything we were looking for from the food to the atmosphere! Our wonderful and gracious waitress, Deju, is by far the best waitress we have ever had! She was attentive, polite, cheery, and had super suggestions from the menu. She truly made our visit perfect!!
Never disappointed here. Mo rocked the house with his outstanding, attention to every detail, service! We will be back and Mo will be our go-to guy!
We went there for dinner, got our table pretty fast, appetizers were excellent! Love the free tasting of two wine. But we all ordered steaks and they were way over cooked even though we ask for medium, I guess next time we’ll have to ask for medium rare to get it right, but, flavors were ok. The atmosphere felt nice and welcoming!
I remember going to Cooper's Hawk when I was in Chicago a few years ago. This restaurant finally came to the MD/VA area. I have to admit the restaurant and the service deserve an award. By far one of the best restaurants with excellent food, excellent wine and excellent service. Please Please Please visit, you will not be disappointed and please share your reviews of this restaurant. A+++++++++
I eat here often and like the atmosphere and the concept. However, the food lacks consistency. Sometimes it is very good and sometimes, not so much. This past visit, the salmon was dry and overcooked but the chicken entree was served with lukewarm sides. I believe that when the place is busy, the servers do not get the food as quickly as they should and the quality suffers. That being said, the servers are always pleasant and easy to deal with, the wine decent and the portions good sized.
This was my second and last time dining there. Barely warm food again, I would not recommend it.
My husband and I had Easter lunch here in hopes that we would finally find a good place to eat that was close to where we live, and we weren't disappointed. The place was extremely busy, but they were full staffed, with managers helping with the crowd-flow, and small glasses of wine being given out to those waiting for a table (what a wonderful idea!). Our server was attentive and efficient, and we told her so. The food was well-flavored and served hot. My husband had steak and I had crab cakes, and we were both happy with our choices. One of the managers even stopped at our table to inquire if everything was all right. We will certainly be back to try other dishes.
The food was terrific. The restaurant was unique inside. The service was good. Took very good care of us without being on top of us. We thoroughly enjoyed it as a family even though we didn't have am any wine. One of our new favorite places!
Generally satisfied, our waiter forgot one of our guest’s drinks. Also forgot our desserts so had to remind someone .
Always enjoy visiting Cooper’s Hawk one of our favorite dining establishments. Never had sad experience. A must visit location
Great staff, excellent food. This place never disappoints us!
Wonderful service as always. Excellent variety of gluten free choices. If you enjoy wine, then try a wine tasting before you sit down or have s flight of sweet wines with chocolates and truffles as an ending to a delightful meal. My wife had the gluten free grilled tenderloin medallions and I had the trio of medallions both were delectable. However, we both ordered them medium and most were cooked well done. My wife thought there would have been more yukon gold potatoes rather than the four to five very thinly sliced pieces that came with almost as a garnish. The next time you are looking to indulge a bit then definitely head to Copper’s Hawk.
Nice ambience and service. Known for its wine selection. Get reservation early!
