Great food & drinks, amazing view, impeccable service. Didn't present a birthday desert, which was a surprise, but I guess we can't expect that. But it seemed cheap in light of it being a $300 meal for 5 people, and also had a 4% surcharge due to "rising labor costs". At these prices they should be having no trouble covering labor costs - that's just being cheap. Or raise the price of the meal - we'd hardly notice if the carne asada was a dollar more. I doubt I'll be back, there are other options that cost much less and don't nickle & dime.

We sat down and waited - and waited - and waited. 20 minutes later I got up and asked a waitperson if we could be get some service - she took our drink order. Sometime after that our waiter showed up saying “he didn’t want to interrupt our discussion - no apology - just a bunch of BS excusing himself for being late. His attitude was cocky the remainder of the meal. The other server continued to help us through the meal as Mr cocky didn’t come by that much. I wrote on the check that she should get the tip. Very poor service by the responsible server - if I were coastera I would fire this guy. Food was good but not a good experience.

went for bday 2 bday celebrations. despite putting it the reservation and having gifts on the table nothing was said, no dessert. did nothing for special occasion which was disappointing

Great for the view. We loved our ceviche appetizer, but the tortilla chips were ho-hum. Service was very friendly, but our mains took so long that we had to get them to go, and we were there for 90 minutes.

Good and service always great, prices, not so much, but still worth it

We were there as part of San Diego Restaurant Week. We were seated quickly. Within 1 minute from when we ordered our first course was served. I had the feeling that they were trying to get us out as fast as possible. We were seated outdoors and had to ask over and over to have the outdoor heater turned on and kept on. We had 3 servers total. 1 left at the end of his shift and 2 others who attended us sporadically.

My meal was good. My husband's was not. He had some kind of Mexican meat dish. It was okay - nothing great but nothing terrible either. His cake dessert was grainy & didn't taste good! We thought there had to be an ingredient missing.

The view is spectacular. Too bad the meal didn't live up to the atmosphere!

I had a reservation and requested a table as close to the water as possible and instead got one the furthest back.......the very small portions of food are good. Our waiter didn't offer very good service but that's just the luck of the draw. I would go back again but it's only because of the spectacular view!

My parents felt that the soup was too spicy and they exchanged it with one they could eat. That was nice.

But it was too cold on the patio. The heaters didn’t help. Maybe if they have eisen glass curtain rolled down to block the wind might help.

But otherwise we were happy with everything.

The service from start to finish was just great. The AL Pastor Cauliflower was absolutely phenomenal, along with the Macho Salad. My girlfriend whom is vegeterian, absolutely loved the whole experience.

Loved the place. Def going back! Wish dinner menu had more options ! Like tacos or chicken enchiladas but very happy!

Casual lunch on a beautiful day. Relaxing atmosphere, service was great, social distance was observed and my fish tacos were excellent. Can’t wait to go back soon.

Scallops and calamari were the best! My only disappointment was that as of April 1, they no longer accept the passport card which does not expire until December 31, 2021. That did not seem fair. P.S. Butter banana cake dessert is incredible too. Can't beat the view from every table!

We had a lovely dinner with a beautiful view of the San Diego skyline. Food was good and the service was good. In our party of six we had three birthdays to celebrate and at the end of the dinner we were served three complimentary flan with a lit candle on top. Very nice.

Packed house for a weeknight. Glad we had reservations.

Beautiful location, we had great service and they made our celebration enjoyable. But if you want Mexican food, think twice. Entree's are not typical Mexican fare and expensive, so are good margaritas.

Amazing happy hour. Get the Calamari, oysters, guac. Pass on the fish ceviche. Coconut margarita is the best!

It was my birthday dinner and it was exceptional!! Four of us ordered a bunch of things and all shared - from the margarita pitcher to the paella to the multiple desserts, it was all so good! My go to restaurant in San Diego for dinner and a view!

Overall a good place to eat. They just need to read customer’s request . I requested to be seated where I have a better view of the bay since it waa our first time there. I also mentioned online that we were celebrating bday and requested for a amall bday dessert. All my request I had to tell them when I wrote it online when booking

Food was just ok. Slow turn around expected because it was Easter, but it was extremely slow. Took over an hour to get food.

Served by Elvira, she did a great job. The food is nothing special. I'm disappointed with the guacamole maybe they used an overripe avocado. Food are overpriced. But the dessert was yummy.
