Dining at Clyde's is always a pleasure. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious.
Always a great lunch option in Reston! We sat outside on their new patio furniture.
I was very surprised at the poor service we received at first. We waited 20 minutes before the first server ever greeted us and asked if we wanted drinks. Once we got a server all was well and it was the usual Clydes dining experience.
Waiter was very good. The food was slow to come out from the kitchen and alcohol drinks took awhile also
Always my favorite place to eat. Have eaten at ALL Clydes in the area. I particularly like the Clydes in Ashburn. The menu is always exciting and different. Wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I have often eaten with my family of two adult children and their families. We have there grandchildren and we always feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you for a wonderful eating experience all the time.
Very hospital group. Accommodating to the Tee. Service good. Food very good. No concerns.
Very nice menu choices and food was very good. Our waiter mixed up our wine order and then wasn’t around for a while. Other than that very enjoyable.
Drink order not taken until after entree order was placed. No steak knives brought out after ordering steak. No specials read. Not priced for all the above to be true.
Love Clyde’s. Our server was terrific. We booked a table for 6 and unfortunately only 4 showed up...he had a large table across the aisle from us and did his best to check in. It took a while to get our dinner orders placed because of the other party...but as our party was a bit of a reunion...it gave us a little extra time to catch up.
Very bad Easter dinner! I had small piece of swordfish served on top of a bean mixture that was so salty it was inedible. Crab cakes for others were also salty, cauliflower was undercooked and partly burned sweet potatoes. Grandson’s fish was over fried and dry so he did not finish it.
Got replacement brocolli for the bean dish and the broccoli was undercooked. Never saw a manager.
Also,we called the restaurant 2 days before to ask if we could bring a sixth person. They said no. When we were seated we were put at a table set for six!
We have been long term customers of Clyde’s and this meal was really disappointing. It seems like Reston Clyde’s has really gone down hill!
We had a 3 PM reservation for Easter and it was nice they were still serving off the Brunch menu. We thought Brunch ended at 2. Wait staff was great; attentive but didn't bug us, especially since we sat there for several hours, visiting.
Food was not hot. More like room temperature which was a bit disappointing. The quiche was not particularly flavorful. I would order an omelet next time. Well situated with free parking. Nice area to walk around afterwards.
Great place for Easter brunch. Good choices across breakfast and lunch foods. They were out of some beverages, but otherwise, great food and service.
Waiter was terrible .. acted like he was afraid of us, never asked if he could refill anything and never spoke when delivering our food, it was really strange. I have not been to Clyde's in a long time, but have been there years ago and it was really good food and great service people. I don't know what has changed but it's not good anymore. It was Easter and the menu was very disappointing ... nothing special or good on the menu, we almost got up and left. Hope this changes for you sake.
Everyone on the staff had a great attitude given we were there on Easter Sunday. However, our wait staff was feeling the pressure and at times forgot about our table.
Clyde's is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The servers are always polite and offer good service. The food is always delicious.
At least two (of nine) meals we were served were not presented as expected - Falafel - dry and tasteless. The remainder was Overall a very “average” dining experience.
I have eaten at Clyde's of Reston since it opened. We used to go there almost once a week.
The food I ordered and service at our table, this time ,was far below average.
I had an offering described as duck breast. I expected a full or half duck breast , with it crispy skin. Instead, I got 6 cut up pieces of about 1 by 1 1/2 inches, with no skin. They were over cooked and tasteless except for a sauce which I can not describe.
The service was almost missing. We had to wait for everything. It was NOT the kitchen's fault that we had to wait for bread, drinks to be refilled, desert menus.
I know I should have complained ,however, my granddaughter did not want to be "embarased."
Oh, the coffee was absolutely terrible. My son and daughter-in-law decided to return theirs as I also did. We did get credit on the bill, when we finally got it.
As I wrote in the opening of this review, I have been a customer of Clyde's for years.
This was not a typical meal. They can do much, much, better.
Came for lunch. Stayed there for about 3 hours. Staff were very friendly. Food was very good. Had the steak and fish lunch item, right portion and good.
The ambient noise was so high we were not able to hear each other. Service was very slow.
I would most likely recommend your restaurant on those days and times when the ambient noise level allowed for speaking and hearing in a normal volume.
Good food . Attentive server.
Completely forgotten by our waiter. Same experience at Clyde’s at Willow Farms. I won’t just not ever again eat at another Clyde’s, I will actively campaign to make sure that no one that I know of or associate with ever eats there either.
Excellent dining experience! My Bishop, his wife, my girl friend, her daughter and I had a delightful time at Clyde’s.
I've been going to Clyde's in the Reston Town Center for at least 20 years, and the food, service, and ambiance never disappointment.
After we ordered the waiter never came back to the table.
The food was not as described in the menu. After a long wait I got up and found a waitress who sent a manager to our table. He looked at our food(both ordered the same)and he had no idea what it was. He said we would not be charged and left. We waited for about ten minutes and then another manager came and we went through the same thing. Soon a bill for two beers and a salad came. We were never asked if we would like something else to eat. We left.
I have been going to Clyde’ Restaurants for decades and have always had wonderful meals with excellent service.
I hope tat this not evidence of a decline in what has always been stellar restaurants.
The service by Lexi was very good but a more experienced waitress would not have allowed the food into the dining room. The food was awful to the point of being embarrassing. My guests were very polite, but I can assure you that Clyde’s will not be a venue for future business meals.
Requested filet to be divided in half so it is not too thick when cooked medium well and it was not done at all. The server did not pay any attention to us and could not find him to correct the order or for refills on drinks. Needed to find other servers walking by to get any attention.
At the end the manager happened by and asked about the food and we told him the problems. He was very apologetic and offered us desert which we accepted and appreciated.
Bagpiper on St Patrick’s day was a special treat!
A quiet afternoon lunch with a friend. Food was served promptly it was pleasing to the eyes and quite tasty. A third party joined us about 45 minutes into our lunch and he too Was served quickly.
Service was VERY slow clearing dirty dishes. Missed the Liver/Bacon/Onions on the menu.
Clyde's was able to satisfy our three-generation family gathering, including some with dietary limitations. The food was excellent, the service friendly and informative and then unobtrusive for the rest of the evening. (Unfortunately that included a rather long wait for the check.)
Seated right away. Noise was a little high. Food was good. Service was excellent.
Very good experience.
First time back at Clyde's for awhile. Newer menu which was good - lots of choices. Calamari, Cesaer salad, Rockfish and scallops- all great! Clyde's Chardonnay -nice! Nice to revisit an " old friend".
Nice meal experience. Very respectful wait staff.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It was an 11:30 lunch with 8 people. At first we were crammed into a small round table with 2 chairs blocking the server. We asked to be moved as more than half of the restaurant was empty. We were moved and our server was lovely. But it took over an hour for our food. The restaurant never reached half of capacity while we were there. The food was okay. We all pushed other meetings, and we skipped coffee/dessert. That’s a shame since it was a colleague’s birthday and we picked Clyde’s to ensure we could have dessert.
As always, we were amazed at the food - so consistently good!!! This day, however, we waited almost an hour for our food - even the appetizer (the humus trio, which is spectacular!!) took way too long. We had ten minutes to eat once our food was served.
Food options were varied and everything was very tasty. Service was a bit slow for our large group of 14, but th e servers gave good recommendations are very very friendly
I often go to Clyde's in Reston for business lunches. The restaurant itself, the service, and the food is always great. I really like the variety of menu items offered.
Even though we had a reservation they made us wait a while, we have to ask for a waiter since they were taking so long to take our order. They forgot one of the orders which we got almost at the time we were leaving. It was a birthday celebration but we didn't have a good time due to the poor service. The food is good overall but the service wasn't great at all. Very disappointing
Caitlyn was our wait staff. She is a wonderful person who took great care of us.
She ensured that our dining needs were totally satisfied in a joyful and enthusiastic
The food was excellent as well. We look forward to returning on our next visit to
I like the atmosphere, although having a conversation is kind of difficult as the noise is on a higher decibel. The lobby was crowded while waiting for our table (maybe because it was on a Saturday weekend). But I would recommend Clyde's restaurant as the prices are reasonable and good food!
