Clyde's of Reston
The roasted chicken was awesome!
We always enjoy the atmosphere and convenience of Clydes! Good food and just a nice place to go and relax!
Great food, superb service.

Good food and great service. It's always a pleasure dining at Clyde's
Great lunch. I had excellent fish and chips. My friend and I stayed longer catching up. Server was available but not hovering.
We had a good time at the Clyde’s in Reston. It was a little loud, but it was also Saturday night. We enjoyed the food, service could’ve been a little better, but overall a good experience.
I specifically asked for a quiet table and we were placed next to a loud party of 20 people. We had to shout to be heard. The food was average.
The service was exceptional. Quick turn around in the kitchen, attentive wait staff. The smoked mozzarella ravioli was fabulous and we substituted the butter sauce for the meat sauce which really it yummy.
Delicious food and great atmosphere! Loved the baked cheddar appetizer and the Parmesan Trout I had!!
Great place and atmosphere in Reston. Superb service with the greatest waiter ever.
While the food was pretty good, the service was definitely lacking. We waited 20 minutes after ordering to get a bottle of wine. Then the appetizers showed up within 5 minutes and 5 minutes later we were moving them aside as the entrees were there. In summary, decent food and reasonably priced but doubt we'll be back.
Reston Clyde’s is slipping. Twice in a year we’ve been with the same poor service and management. Food is ok as long as you stick with the basics.
Had to ask for bread, more water and asked for salad dressing on the side but salad came drenched in dressing.
Everything was wonderful as always. We enjoyed New Year’s Day brunch here with family.
It was New Year’s Eve so it was a little busy but not so busy that service should have been as slow as it was. The server was friendly but he was so busy that we waited a few times for attention. Food was good & luckily we weren’t in a rush so overall, it wasn’t too bad.
We had a great New Year’s Eve dinner!!
It was a lovely evening with an exceptional dinner for our last night in Reston.
Started out nice and quite, then we found ourselves almost yelling just to hear each other.
Overall very good EXCEPT the noise level. It was noisy but the LOUD customers in the table next to us made it hard to talk with the people we were with.
Cocktails were outstanding. Food was prepared to taste great. Duck was great. House wine was good. Nice seating location.
Outstanding service, fashionable restaurant, food that used to be good and is now mediocre for prices on the high side. Steak salads made from obvious "bagged" salad and some sorry-looking presentation of meat, French onion soup where content has been noticeably reduced...even the Coke mixture was off
Xmas dinner w grown children
Clyde's has been around DC for decades. For our meal last night I can say that the service was great, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was mostly pleasant. The place is loud, mostly because there are hard surfaces everywhere which reflect sound. My only real disappointment is that it's more like California cuisine. Both my wife and I had the beef short rib, which was outstanding...but served in tiny portions on huge plates. I was definitely still hungry when I left. I can't say if the other dishes are prepared as well or served in such a manner.
Christmas Eve Dinner
The atmosphere at Clyde's during the Christmas season is why we keep coming back. This was probably the 5th or 6th time for us over the last eight years. I had 7 people in my group, four of us drinking, a good round of appetizers, and we got out for about $300, with some leftovers. Very good value.
started off well but they mixed up one of orders and the other was roasted half duck where they only served two legs and no white meat. to me 1/2 duck is split down the center like most places. mentioned it to the server and he thought it was funny. disappointed
I have been going to Clydes of Reston since it opened in 1990, so almost 30 years !! But recently I have noticed that the quality and taste of the food has been deteriorating. Portion sizes also have shrunk considerably, which is why I rated the value as low. (No more doggie bags....) I really hope that the chef and cooking staff will work hard to upgrade the food quality and return to the Clydes of old. I also go frequently to Clydes at Mark Center (Alexandria), which is still generally good.
We were placed next to a very large party. The restaurant was empty at the time. It was very loud.
Great service, great food, great atmospher
Have had good experiences at Clyde's in the past but this time the service was very slow throughout. Took a long time to get drinks and entrees. Took a long time to get wine and then server brought the wrong wine the first time. Both entrees were overcooked. I ordered New York strip steak medium rare and the steak was more than medium. My wife's trout was also over cooked. My wife also asked for French fries in place of garlic potatoes and we had to remind the servers to bring the fries. A very disappointing experience.
The calamari appetizer wasn’t very good. Calamari was rubbery.
We were 4 friends, meeting for a holiday lunch. The menu is ample, the service was good, and we enjoyed our meal. However, the noise level is incredibly loud, much louder than we remembered from previous visits. The noise level, plus the issues with parking suggest patronizing a different Clyde's location.
The service was friendly and prompt, the food was delicious. The holiday decorations were very nice we enjoyed our cocktails, entrees, and desserts. The mushroom pasta was excellent. My dinner companions enjoye the turkey sandwich and the acorn squash. We ate in the aviation room and enjoyed the vintage aircraft that accented the dining area. It was an enjoyable evening.
The food was excellent as usual. The service was a bit slower than normal.
I've always had great food at Clydes for decades. Yesterday, I had the fish tacos which were awful. The corn tortillas (doubled up for some reason!) were totally dry, fish was dry/fair, and "slaw" was nothing but shredded cabbage with some sauce dabbled on. There was sauce on the side. The entire thing was dry with no taste at all. But most of all, it took over 30 minutes from the time we ordered to get our lunch! We had to finally ask the waiter, once we saw him again, and he said (finishing some food in his mouth like he was finishing his lunch)...it would be right out! Shocker....did he eat then get around to bringing out our food? I was thoroughly disappointed in the dish I ordered and the bad service. I realize there were a lot of holiday lunches going on but this was the worst experience I've ever had at a Clyde's restaurant!
Everything wonderful. My only suggestion was my wife ordered the short ribs, which where delicious- however, she wished the portion was a little bigger.
Ordered cocktails and appetizers to begin our meal. Appetizers delivered in 20 minutes. Cocktails FOLLOWED 10 minutes later. Entrees were also tardy. Waiter was apologetic; he knew his service to out table was poor....
Great food and great service. Wish they would serve hot apple cider.
