Clyde's at Mark Center
We aRe Clydes so Regulars so i hope we caught them on a off night. Service was stretched, the salmon burger was a bit off, and grilled peaches contained fragments.
The food and service were excellent. I took home some carry out and it was also delicious.
A great restaurant. One of my favorite places in the DC metro area. The food is good, and the service is outstanding
Excellent food--very generous portions, especially the huge helping of steamed muscles as an appetizer. Service was prompt, professional, and very courteous. Everything, as usual, made for an exquisite and satisfying meal meal.
Food was excellent, service was excellent and ambiance was excellent
Food and service were fine, but where we were seated was very noisy.
The hostess initially showed us to our table and then took out drink and appetizer order. She was friendly and pleasant. Our ultimate waiter, "Johnnie B" was somewhat aloof, did not introduce himself, or advise us of the specials. He did not offer bread, we had to ask for it. But the oysters and then the lobster meals made up for that.
I love this restaurant! I’m never unhappy. It has been 13 years of great meals and a homey atmosphere. I grew up in the woods of Michigan. Highly recommend.
We went for brunch and the restaurant was pretty empty. The service was still VERY slow. Not sure if we will return to this Clyde's location.
The LOBSTER special was fantastic!!
Great evening service and food excellent. We love the casual comfortable atmosphere here. Lobsters were excellent and fresh. This is a great time of year to head to Clyde’s.
Hooray, hooray, hooray, Hooray for Maine lobsters!
We love to go to Clyde's for their fall lobster special, and we were not disappointed this year. The whole lobster tasted great and was accompanied by crispy fries (cooked that way per our request) and a vinegary coleslaw, which we prefer to the kind made with thick mayonnaise. For dessert, we tried the seasonal special, peach shortcake, which nicely balanced the sweet sauce with the biscuit-style shortcake.
Clyde's September lobster special is truly a bargain and utterly delicious. Well worth the cost.
Always friendly and this trip was no exception. Menu is always changing to somethinf fresh andin season. A great family atmosphere.
The food is always good and Clyde's is one of my favorites especially during lobster season. The lobster sheperd's pie was amazing. Yum. The only downside is that the place needs some restoration. It's been years and as much as the theme's are cute, some of the booths are looking tired. But the food out weighs the tired decor.
Food and selection was good as expected from many previous visits. Atmosphere and noise level were very comfortable. Service has usually been excellent except this visit. When we ordered a bottle of wine the waiter said he would bring us bread; he didn't. When he brought the wine he said he would bring bread; he didn't. A passing waiter brought bread promptly when asked. After entrees were served we asked the waiter for an iced tea. He said he would bring it: he didn't. Still an enjoyable evening excepting the unusually inattentive waiter.
Always fresh wonderful seasonal food! When I want to have a nice conversation in a relaxed atmosphere it is the place to go.
Clyde's has remained as a consistent and dependable restaurant serving a nice variety of food with a knowledgeable wait staff over the many years we have eaten there. Nobody makes better crab cakes as far as we know. Whether dining with my wife or with any of my clients or with my out of town family members, Clyde's never fails to impress, even including their very reasonable prices.
Crab cakes were extremely cold! And the crab dip was tiny and the cheese was burnt. Sad since I have always liked Clyde’s
Since the my last visit, Clyde's Landmark has changed their Sunday Brunch menu and eliminated dinner entrees. Not a smart move!
Love this spot, cool atmosphere and great food!
Yum yum yum...hummus presentation was not only done well but taste was on point. Beyond burger was memorable along with crispy chicken sandwich hitting the mark. Clyde’s continues to make an impressive with creative and consistent yummy food. Our server was attentive and very efficient. Will definitively return!
Very nice venue for special events as well as a casual dining.
The food was delicious and the service was above and beyond. Just terrific.
We've been to Clydes several times over the years for family celebrations, and it never disappoints. The food is outstanding and the service is always excellent, with the minor exception of our last trip. Our server was very earnest and wanted to do a good job, but she was either nervous or just inexperienced (took a while to get to us, did not know what a white wine spritzer was, and there was confusion as to who was bringing us what ). I'm sure she will get more comfortable, and we appreciated her efforts, but it was not up to Clyde's usual serving excellence. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our evening and we'll be back!
The food was tasty, service excellent. Very nice evening.
Excellent as usual
Had a reservation on a Wednesday night during restaurant week, very busy. Waiters and cooks couldn’t keep up. Long wait for service, drinks and food. Wouldn’t go again during restaurant week.
My companion and I fondly enjoyed the Creme Brulee as dessert.
My husband and I decided to go to Clyde's after church for brunch on Sunday, since they were participating in Restaurant Week. We were tired of going to the same places Sunday after Sunday that we always eat at. I must say this was an excellent choice on both of our parts. I had not been to the restaurant in over 10 years, because we live in Maryland and it's quite a drive for us just to eat.
The food looked and tasted so good I posted pictures on Facebook and immediately received likes and inquiries. Many thanks to the staff from the welcome we received upon entering, the gracious hostess who seated us, the wait staff that took our orders, kept our drinks filled, and delivered our food, to the courteous good-bye have a wonderful afternoon. This was an exceptional dining experience and we will be returning.
I think ownership and management has changed. We did the restaurant weekbk by. Poor selection. The corn appetizer was too large and nothing but a bowl of spicy corn. One entree was salmon and it was dry. The rattoutille that accompanyed it was very spicy: The Key Lime pie was some of the worst I have ever had.
The service was impeccable & the late night Raw Bar is 1/2 price. My wife & I really enjoyed ourselves
I've never had a bad experience at Clyde's at Mark Center, and this meal was no exception.
We had a marvelous meal, the waiter Jesse was friendly and professional, and the nautical décor provided a wonderful environment.
Family in town and known menu & service
Tim the Manager came to our table, what a lovely experience we had and he made it better! waitress was not as attentive, had to wait for her to come to order another round of drinks and she didn't come over to see how we were doing, we had to flag her down.
Other than that, the food was great, relaxing atmosphere. Overall a wonderful experience.
Great service and wonderful food.
Took a friend for his birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed the oysters and jumbo shrimp.
Shrimp app excellent.
Haagen Das Cofee ice cream excellent.
Salmon very undercooked, carrots undercooked, potatoes very greasy.
