    Extraordinary experience with superb seating in Alcove C, spectacular service & ambience! This was definitely one of the best we’ve had (our 3rd time here) and can’t wait to come back! Crab cakes were over-the-top & appreciated the flute player, historical snippets, etc.

    Christiana Campbells is an immersive Colonial dining establishment … candlelit, period furnished, and historically documented dining opportunity offering creatively modern dishes base on period food. We had crabcakes as one meal, potatoes in French style cream sauce with crab as the other meal. We greatly enjoyed both dinners, and left full enough that we did not end with desserts. For anyone seeking an honest Williamsburg dining experience, this is a great choice. And if you just want some good tasting food, try them.

    The ambience of the colonial tavern was wonderful - but the food was NOT worth the money spent… The crab cakes were cold, had no taste, and definitely not worth $49. BIG disappointment. The management should get better chefs!!!

    Completely enjoyed the experience. Food was fantastic and service was first class. The steak I had was one of the best I’ve ever had.

    The ambiance was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our server Stephanie was great! My husband and I have dined here before and always enjoy our experience.

    Excellent service and fun, festive atmosphere. Food was better than we remembered from prior visit. A nice place for a special event.

    The meal was served hot and a decent portion. Our waitress was very mindful of our needs. The entertainment was not only entertaining but informative.

    My mom, sister and I went to Christiana Campbell’s Tavern last night at the recommendation of the hotel concierge. First of all it is very dark so we had to use our camera flashlights to read the menu. Maybe that is part of the ambiance but I could have used a little more light. My mom and I both ordered the To Fry Fish which was awful as we both kept having to scoop out mouthfuls of fish bone. The spoon pudding was cold, I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be served this way but would have been much better had it been warm. The waitress kept walking by our table but for some reason would not take our plates away. Finally I had to tell her we were finished with our meals as we could not finish our fish with all the bones. She said she was surprised as others had not had this issue but was nice enough to take the 2 meals off of our bill without our asking. Even so, one meal, 3 glasses of wine and tip cost us $139. We will not be going back!
