Always a warm welcoming when arriving at Cafe Renaissance along with outstanding food and service!

When I'm looking for a retreat from today's madness, I can always count on an old style local restaurant w/good food, service, Which has set up outdoor seating during the pandemic. A great default (even though it can be a bit pricy). Reservations helpful, dinner hours might be earlier than posted.

Everything was perfect! The service was excellent, the staff is so friendly and on top of everything-never an empty water glass (or wine for that matter) The food was incredible. Everything we ordered from the scrumptious appetizers through to sinful desserts. My entree was the best filet I’ve had in years! They are masters at sauces too. I highly recommend! 5 stars!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Wonderful meal! French onion soup, Caesar salad, filet mignon, branzino (seafood special), and a dessert sampler. We ate every bite!

What happened to Cafe Renaissance? It was a fine French restaurant and now it's an assembly line of ordinary food made with common ingredients. Garlic oil? Really? Not worth the time or money. Go to Ristorante Banaroti. Much better.

It was our first time there and wont be the last. We had the 5 course tasting menu. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing.

Wow, this place was awesome. Service was exceptional - very down to earth wait staff, cook, and owner. Kept us very entertained. Food and drinks were great - great value for the money.

Not what I expected. Ambiance was good, friendly neighbors. French restaurant but "local" feel. Food taste was different and not to our liking. Overcharge for basic fish dinner and a Scallop dinner that was barely acceptable level. Onion soup had too strong OREGANO flavor (why is oregano in onion soup?) This is during COVID, they didn't have full menu, maybe their main chef quit, and the assistant was working that day.
Nice people, and I really didn't want to give a horrible review, but just not our cup of tea.... oh we passed on the dessert, but their coffee was good! Maybe they'll get better after COVID is over? Its hard to stay in business so, I'm giving the benefit of doubt and that it must be the pandemic...

Very charming restaurant (rare quality these days!) perfect for a date night. Lovely attention from husband/wife owners and great staff, excellent food (salad with good house dressing, baked oysters, escargots, rack of lamb, duck confit, and dessert sampler). The wine list should be satisfactory to most, and we enjoyed a smooth port with dessert. The restaurant appears to have many regular customers, we plan to be among them.

The closest thing to a complaint I have is the extremely attentive service. The food is excellent, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere nice and quiet - perfect for conversation. The tables are well-spaced so you’re not on top of fellow diners, the pace is never rushed, the wine pours are generous and the menu is terrific. Cafe Renaissance is going to be a regular choice for us!

We had a lovely dinner. I had fresh fettuccine with shrimp, scallops, calamari, and a crab cake. So good!

Saeed and the team made for a superb dining experience! Wonderful food, perfectly mixed cocktails and good service, Cafe Renaissance is truly a neighborhood gem!

Café Renaissance can only be described as FABULOUS! From an amazing Duck Confit appetizer, classic onion soup with three cheeses, crisp and well dressed green salad and her entrée, Rack of Lamb, cooked to perfection and my entrée Cod with seasoned vegetables the entire evening was TOP Shelf! Wine list will satisfy the most discriminating taste. Coffee and desserts from Heaven! I must return!! Worth the drive from DC.

As always, another spectacular meal at Cafe Renaissance. The food was exceptional, the wine pairing was perfect and the ambiance was excellent. This is truly one of our "go-to" date night restaurants!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. It’s classy, the food is awesome, and the owners are very nice. Highly recommended.

Truly superb, personal service. We were kept entertained by the owner hours after close on a Monday. Food arrived hot and perfectly timed, dishes were split plated for sharing. Escargot, duck confit were better than at Le Diplomat.

If you enjoy French food and service, I really cannot recommend this restaurant enough. There is decades of traditional excellence and pride on display here.

Service and food was incredible. We came back the very next day to bring my mother to the restaurant.

We had a 3 hour dinner with 2 friends. Only a dinner at our house could have been longer, but without the excellent service, ambiance, and excellent food.

The food is well prepared. The service is attentive. I often dine alone and the staff always make me feel like a honored guest.

The prices are reasonable for such wonderful food not available in many restaurants. The
ambiance and service were both great. Although we live a bit far away we will go back frequently.

Café Renaissance hosted a small wedding dinner for us. Service was outstanding, food was exceptional. The whole experience was fabulous.

We tried this for anniversary after seeing great reviews. We were not disappointed. Fabulous dinner! Service was a little slow - probably due to COVID precautions. We didn’t mind though. Food was excellent! Will definitely make this a regular go-to place!!
