Bourbon Steak - Four Seasons Washington DC
The quality of the food was as expected for a high-end Washington D.C. Steakhouse. The prices, however, were unreasonable. Not just on the food, but sides and drinks. You simply do not get your money's worth. Six dollars per glass of soda. Eleven dollars per bottle of water. Sixty seven dollars for a strip. There are simply better options with more reasonable prices in the area.
Amazing! Incredible food and staff.
The highlight of the dinner was the excellent and attentive service from the staff. The wine surpassed even our high expectations. The side items were fantastic. The french fries at the beginning were wonderful as always. However, I'm not convinced the steak was worth the price. It was a bit tough and chewy for this price level. That's important, as this is a steak house. Also, an Old Fashioned cost $21, which I think is too high. Had a far better experience at a separate Bourbon Steak location. Still, I'll visit Bourbon Steak again....just not quite sure I'll come back to this one.
Everything at Bourbon Steak is executed with the overall customer experience involved, right down to a coat check ticket to get your wrapped leftovers on your way out. The food is phenomenal and the staff is well versed in making great recommendations. A must visit establishment.
Incredible service, food knowledge which led us to indulge and truly enjoy ourselves. We were celebrating with family for their last night in the US before going back to the Netherlands. They had a ball! Thank you!!
We have eaten at Bourbon Steak many times. We asked to be seated in a booth and was told they were reserved. We were seated at a table next to a large, loud table where people kept getting up and down. The booths remained empty while we were there!
Took my lady there for her birthday. Outstanding service. Food was great. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food and service
Steaks and potatoes cold
Great experience, food, service, and staff were exceptional.
Delicious food and outstanding service on top of the best wine list in DC.
Bourbon Steak puts it all together to deliver a superior dining experience -- they are second to none!
Food was “meh” to say the least. For a steak house, portions are small. Not much flavor in the Mac in cheese or on the rib eye. Brussel sprouts were tasty. There are better steak house options in DC.
Meal was outstanding and what you would expect for the price your paying. I felt the server could have been a bit more attentive when it came to drink refills. You truly are paying a premium for the meal so if your prepared for this then I would highly recommend dining here.
It is horrible that in 2019 that there is not a designated smoking area on the terrace for outdoor dining. We chose Bourbon for a birthday dinner and had to move 2 times. Children and other adults shouldn’t have to be subject to smoke. We are frequent diners at Bourbon but will certainly reconsider after this
Also it took 15 minutes for a server to come over or bring us water.
Overall, great service and food, but a bit overpriced.
Brick chicken was over salted
Excellent food, service, and wine list!
One of the best prime burger I ever had. Definitely would go back.
Excellent as always
The hotel needs to stand up to people behaving badly. A group showed up and was behaving so inappropriately, screaming, bellowing, using foul language. Are restaurants so afraid of upsetting one group that they are happy to upset the entire rest of the restaurant, not to mention all of the people trying to sleep in the rooms overlooking the courtyard? Where can one go to have a civilized meal, if not even the Four Seasons?
Steak wasn’t cooked as ordered and came cold. We asked to have it cooked to MR and hot and it came back the same way it did originally. Service started off great and then tapered off very quickly. Ambience is nice but the service and food do not align with the prices.
Love this place and the food, though a bit expensive.
One of the best meals I've ever had and by far the best service.
The food, service and general setting were outstanding. We look forward to returning.
One of the best steak houses in Washington, DC. Exemplary customer service (is IS in the Four Seasons). Food offering mouth watering, especially their signature duck-fat frites with homemade dipping sauces. Moving to the courtyard for after dinner cigars and drinks was a wonderful way to end a great evening.
Superb dining experience. Great menu, and the staff was most helpful in wine and dinner selections. Beautiful ambience. Looking forward to our next visit.
We were celebrating a special occasion; unfortunately when we arrived the table wasn’t ready. However the manager came out prior to our meal and provided us a delightful treat in advance of our meal, compliments of the chef. We had a great time the service was spectacular and the food was amazing! Thank you!
Was fun, the service and experience was awesome. Food was amazing!
Our waiter was trying to keep up, but there are a lot of high maintenance clients. The lobster soup has no substance, a bisque preparation would have been better. Also, the smokey s'mores dessert was all presentation, but disappointing in taste. For a restaurant of this size and configuration, it was surprisingly loud.
Bourbon is always very good. The service is spot-on, the food is very good, and the ambiance screams “DC Power Lunch.”
The only objection I would raise: $6 for an Iced Tea is outrageous. Come on guys!
Otherwise, I always enjoy Bourbon Steak.
Despite the name, we ate only seafood and everything was outstanding. If you want to splurge, you won’t be disappointed by the potato caviar appetizer. Great service too! We loved the complimentary fries and truffle bread. I look forward to returning.
Great service. Our waiter was very attentive and recommended very tasty cocktails. The charred octopus is a must! Highly recommend.
The restaurant was very noisy with less than a full crowd. Needs some acoustic work to soften the sound. The service was very good and the waiter was almost too attentive. Food was of course great, but like in every restaurant, even excellent food gets cold sitting on your plate so by the time you are half way through the meal the meat is a little tougher, the veggies a little firmer, etc. Somebody needs to figure out how to keep hot food warm at the table without overcooking anything. But the prices make it harder to take. I don't expect Cheap Eats at the Four Seasons but I've had better steaks elsewhere for a lot less. The hotel and restaurant are for people who don't worry about prices. I'm not one of those lucky ones.
Just amazing food and service.
Very pricey, but for a special occasion and the wish for a special cut of meat the perfect choice.
The atmosphere and service were incredible. Friendly helpful staff. Celebrated Anniversary there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. Will definitely visit again.
Amazing amazing amazing
A chic restaurant with a lot of offerings for you to enjoy. The ambiance is nice. The staff is impeccably attentive. They had a great grasp of the menu and provided sound recommendations.
Excellent Food, Excellent mood. Very elegant and classy. Friendly ambiance.
Attentive service, good atmosphere, and incredible food.
