We are thrilled that Black Angus is open and fantastic to see it busy!

While we did have a mixup or two with our order, we didn't truly mind. All servers/managers were attentive and made the effort to correct the mistakes. We truly appreciate that.

We can understand that it is hectic with the reopening (6/15) and that it will take time to dial in the kitchen service. Please thank all for what was still a lovely and tasty meal.

First of all, we love Black Angus. We go there a lot and have had many great meals there. I think last night was an anomaly as they're just getting the doors open again from the pandemic. The salad was "ok" but not exceptional as it used to be. They didn't have thousand island dressing. They also don't have the grilled artichokes any more - they said it was seasonal but they've had them in every season prior. They also didn't have A-1 steak sauce. My steak was OK but somehow not what I'm used to and my wifes steak was WAY overdone. The lobster tails were good and the kids had burgers which they said were good. My daughter had steak and it was pretty rare (ordered medium). It was obvious it was the server's first day, very nice but obviously learning the ropes. She'll be fine. So overall, though it was an "OK" meal - not a memorable one as we have come to expect. We know it will get better again as they get back in the groove - that was a long time to be shut down.

I made a reservation for my husbands 74th Bday with our neighbors at 7:00 last night. When we got there, it wasnt really busy at all. The hostess with the very long blonde hair (past her back) Seated us & said someone will be right over to take our drink order. We waited & waited & waited, after 20-25 minutes my husband got up & asked for someone to help us. I believe the hostess forgot to tell anyone we were there. A waitress came over & apologized. I told her it was my husbands BDay & then ordered. The food was very good, I believe everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Then came the bill, which was almost $300 & over with tip, which I paid BUT no one ever did anything for his BDay. A waitress took some mud pie or something lke that to the table behind us & I thought for sure they would bring my husband some, but no. I paid & we left.

So starting with the hostess issues, like we were invisible & then no BDay wish, it was pretty disappointing.

One person ordered steak in our party. The steak was dry and tough. Other members had shrimp and chicken, all of which were good. We were there for a birthday. The waitress brought over a birthday cookie and ice cream. Unknowingly, we were charged for this! They should let you know if there is a cost or not. Who knows what else people get accidentally charged for. Check your bills. And, try your steak fast to make sure it is decent quality.

We came when it first opened, and the order ticket machine lost our order so we were comped after waiting forever. This is our second time, bringing friends, and the power had gone out so no one seemed to know how to get the systems back up. We had originally been seated in a booth for four people and there were six of us. We were so crowded, we asked for a bigger booth, of which lots were available. However, we shouldn't have had to ask in the first place. After waiting awhile, we could finally ordered. My baked potato had such hard, inedible places in it that it was obvious it had been in a microwave for awhile. However, the young man who served us couldn't have been more gracious and efficient in a bad situation.

We arrived 15 minutes prior to our 8:30 pm reservation and they told us they were sitting everyone 20-30 AFTER their reservation times. That completely defeats the purpose of reservations. We watched other people who walked in after us get seated before us even though they didn’t have reservations. When we finally got seated, we ordered our meals and appetizers at the same time. Our appetizers arrived within 10-15 minutes and then we were waiting 30+ minutes after to get our main courses. When I got my bbq baby back ribs, they were dry and super burnt so I couldn’t eat them. My husbands steak was unseasoned and flavorless. My highlight of the entire experience was the grilled artichokes. We agreed that this place is perfect for appetizers and drinking but not an entire meal.

Seems that partnership between black angus and open table needs some refinement. Had valentines reservations for 1945 and were not seated until 2030. If you have reservations you should expect to be sedated close to your reservation time. Restaurant said they could not control outside reservation company

Waited 40 minutes past reservation time. I think it's best to have an earlier reservation so there's less chance to fall behind.

One of the steaks was ordered medium well. It came rare.it was sent back and came back still bloody. It as sent back again and was burnt black.

My wife and I had reservations, which cut our wait time down quite a bit.
Since it a fairly open venue, the noise level was acceptable, with only a couple of unhappy children. Still, that's better than a lot of other restaurants of this type.
Truly enjoyed the appetizers as well as the meal itself. Didn't have room to enjoy dessert there, so we took it home and ate it the next day. Still very good after a night in the freezer.

Food wasn't quite up to normal standards. Bread and baked potato tasted like it was reheated cause skin of potato was tough and so was outside of bread. My husbands steak was tough. Little disappointed.

Superb service and excellent menu choices. Plus always a great experience. The Manager even spoke with all patrons which is something we don’t see all the time . He made us feel welcome and appreciated.

Service was really good. Food outstanding. Prime rib done to perfection. No crowd when we got there and we had reservation. But little later, began to get very crowded. Glad to see this Black Angus is doing well.

We were seated immediately, however asked for a different table as the booth did not allow for much space between the seat and table. We are not heavy, being of average build, but some inner booths were very small we were reseated at a nearby table.

The severe greeted us immediately. The only problem encountered, was not receiving the second petite lobster tail. Both the kitchen and the server missed it, as they have a coupon special with one steak and a petite lobster, however I was ordering off the regular menu. The regular menu is a steak and two petite tails..no coupon. Make sure you check your bill, as I was charged the regular price. They did credit me $8.50, since I only received one and I was fine with that, as the tails are very small and don't reheat well at home.

Our first trip back after 6 years in Hawaii. The filet and free lobster tail were awesome and the baby back ribs excellent.
The slaw and Caesar were great and finished with mud pie.
Our waiter very knowledgeable about menu choices and his service was first rate.

We used their "campfire feast" coupon: share an appetizer, entree for two, and share a desert. Great value for the cost. The food was quite good and the service excellent. Quite a nice restaurant. Very crowded on a Saturday night, but we had made a reservation (still waited 15-20 minutes for a table).

Went there two years ago enjoyed it. Went back for my Dads birthday and enjoyed it as well. I made a reservation for 6 got there a little early but they did let me know I would be seated closer to 6 and that was fine cause I was still waiting for the rest of my party. I was just afraid that they wouldn’t cause I did notice more and more people coming in and some being seated right away but 5:56 they called my name and I was seated. Kim our server was very attentive and great brought our food out very quickly and made sure our food was as we ordered. Overall will definitely go back again.

Food and service was great. Enjoyed the birthday meal as part of the Black Angus email program. Didn't realize it included a cowboy cookie surprise too.

Enjoyed having our regular sever, Peter. He's a friendly hard working server.
