It was a fantastic dinner with my special friend. Everyone is so lovely, and the food was so good. Manager Zack was excellent to services gave us. We had a wonderful time and pre Thanksgiving ourselves. We want to go back again. Please ask the manager, and he is going to give you excellent service.
Outdoor dining was great they had lights and heaters nice music! Delicious food and Great service !
Very bad service, we were waiting for the waitress about 10 min and nobody attend us, we were at 3 pm in the high sun and the restaurant doesn’t have roof or something to hide us from the sun outside that why we left the restaurant.
Food was good. But for the amount we payed I think too pricey. Had a coupon but was not honored. Besides that, the waitress was super good!
We've been going to Black Angus for many years and it's one of our favorite restaurants. Its great food and cozy booths and terrific waiters and waitresses have never disappointed. Keep it up!

The service was outstanding, our server Alejandro was great and the food was delicious.I do have to mention that the women's restroom was in need of attention. It did need some serious cleaning.
Wednesday night Prime rib and mud pie are always great! Rib tender & flavorful (especially an end cut) & the pie too good not to eat all of it!

I have been a regular customer here for at least 10 years. Before the pandemic, I dined at the Chula Vista Black Angus every Friday. Chef Pablo prepares excellent food. Josh and Mark provide great service. I was pleased to dine inside once again and look forward to dining inside when the pandemic is over.
The issue I had concerned the prime rib I ordered. It was prepared as I requested but arrived cold to my table. Very frustrating.
Went with my two kids and husband. The quality of service and food is so much better than other similar restaurants. We loved the intimate ambiance. My kids prefer this restaurant over BJs, Outback and Cheesecake Factory!
We have visited this restaurant many times of the past several years but since covid became a concern for all of us. I observed the wait staff taking every precaution they could in wiping things down and spreading the patrons out. We used a coupon we found on the internet for the Campfire Feast, which is a quite a bargain! My filet was tough but my wife's steak was fine; luck of the draw I guess.
The Martinis were well prepared and chilled with generous portions of the spirits. The final desert of the evening the mud pie was as always super.
With so many superlatives above you say why did you give it such a low overall rating. The reason is that the restaurant looks tired and run down. If you forgot what the 80's looked like visit this restaurant! They haven't done a renovation in twenty years that I know of, and it shows. I would go again but would't want to entertain out town guests here; we have better in San Diego.
All considering (COVID Restrictions), it was a great time.

Food was good :) During COVID this place only takes reservations.
Food was really good, they are doing a pretty good job during this very challenging time. It was nice to be able to go out to a restaurant again. They are still juggling reservations a little, so we had to wait longer than we anticipated, but you always seem to have to wait. Waitress was very nice. A very pleasant evening.
Black angus has really improved! Haven't been here in a few years and I must say, the food was sooo good! The customer service was even better. We will definitely be coming back.
We went on 10/23/20, to celebrate our good friends wedding anniversary. After being seated and taking our beverage order it took approximately 20 to 25 minutes for the waiter to bring our drinks. Then it took 40 - 55 minutes to get our dinner. Every time we wanted a refill I had to look for the our waiter, no where to be found. I had to ask a different waiter to refill our drinks. I also ordered extra bread for our dinner and never came. Bad Service......
My husband food was too salty and dry. My plate which was the same as his a Riley was aswell pretty dry. The service the waitress would take forever to come and help us out. Overall it was an ok serive and food

My husband’s steak was over cooked! Waiter was great, he took it back then the second time it was under cooked bad very chard. My husband didn’t eat it cause it was late and he didn’t want to return it again.
When I made the reservation and waited outside, the front desk person did not send a text to verify that we were outside waiting for our table. She by-passed us so we had to wait 1/2 hour longer
I rated the noise high because there was a party of 6 with children running around
4:30pm was my seating time but they didn't seat us 45 minutes later
It was great my favorite place for steak it’s so good mostly the steak quesadilla as the appetizer omg it was so good when you put the avocado like the best thing in the world so good I’ve been to black angus so much as a kid and now that I can pay for myself and try new things it was the best 100000 stars not gonna lie it was really good
